He was so busy foaming at the mouth to get up there and start yappin’, that he neglected to thank his WIFE - hello? Agenda much? He showed a lack of, what was the word? - oh, yeah - ELEGANCE,(you know, that attribute he believes makes a good president) in forgetting such an obvious courtesy. That’s part of the problem; they vote for movies that have a THEME they’re into at the moment, NOT THE ACTUAL PERFORMANCES of the actors therein.

Sallyjo, I totally agree the only winner in my eyes and many others is Mickey Rourk!!! His work in the Wrestler was unmatched, simple but deep and beleivable!!! he has come a long way and is truthful about his past. Oscar is so political among the voters and I am sick of liberal bull. To each his own but I do not want to sit in a movie theatre and watch men kiss each other!!! GROSS!!! or watch it in clips at the Acadamy Awards Show. We buy the tickets for a movie and do not have a say in who wins? Get over yourself Hollywood and join the real world. Sean Penn should be ashamed of himself for prostituting his career and ethics!
Who the heck was Harvey Milk anyway? Never heard of him before this movie it’s just another platform movie about a subject that most of us do not care about. Mickey Rourk is the real deal and too strong and sincere for Hollywood!!! the Golden Globes got it right!!! Take a lesson Hollywood and join the world of what the viewing public wants to see Mickey Rourk!!!!!!!

Sean Penn, what a puke! He is without a doubt the most anti-American puke on the planet! The way the actors fawn all over each other is pathetic! He makes it “hard for Hollywood to like me” he actually said that? What a joke! Most of Hollywood is full of anti-American and anti-God losers! Of course they would vote for him. No one is shocked and most importantly no one cares! The Oscars has been considered a joke for years by the general public. It’s sort of like Prom! It’s not the most beautiful or most deserving that gets it, it’s the most popular or most controversial! What a bunch of Losers!
