Hilton Denies Involvement in Brown Altercation

"Extra" caught up with Paris Hilton at "An Evening of Fashion with Haven," where the heiress defended herself against reports that accuse her of igniting the fight between Chris Brown and Rihanna by sending the "Forever" singer a text message.

"I have no idea how I got involved in that," Paris said. "People were calling me saying, 'It's your fault.' I'm like, 'What?!'"

Hilton continued, "I love Chris Brown. I love Rihanna. I'm friends with both of them so you know, the fact that I got involved in it was ridiculous -- but I wish her the best. I love her. She's amazing."

Brown was arrested on charges of making felony criminal threats after an altercation with his girlfriend Rihanna turned ugly on the eve of the Grammy Awards.

The sheer idiotic nature of whom ever runs this web page disgust me! A woman has been beaten and it’s been publicized to millions and u poll the readers of this s h i t page if rihanna should take chris brown back????!! I remember when it used to be morally wrong to hit a female! But now it is treated as a voting priority!

yeah I dont believe Paris was involved in this either. its just ridiculous because the tabloid has accused at least two other female celebrity, the source is not creditable.

Paris did run of with one of the olsen twins boyfriend, Starvos Niarchos, or whater his name is, that’s close enough. I honestly think that Paris did not flirt with chris. She reminds me of a big fluffy cloud, innocent she is. Paris was not the cause of chris’s problems.

I am a fan of both artists. I will continue to support both of them. As for their personal life, I feel both of them need to get it together. You can’t have a fight with one person. And though boys are taught to never hit a girl, if it is in retaliation of being hit, well then…As for Paris, she just needed the publicity, she has been pretty quiet as of late.

I love Chris and Rihanna too. I wish them the best. I think everyone is being to harsh on Chris. It’s none of our business for one thing, but also they are young. Young people make stupid, even dangerous mistakes sometimes.

Paris is a lover, and not a hater. If anything, she is about keeping love, and peace together. She has a heart, and that’s why I love her. If you’ve followed her as an artist, you’d know that she wouldn’t do anything to hurt anyone…
