Hold on one minute… I to have lost my home and my savings in this mess. Nevertheess I did not wake up this morning and say to myself… “Stop the Oscar’s” Because the show must go on… Don’t shame the Oscar’s, shame Greedy Corporation America for non-disclosure. Just a thought… I am very happy for anyone nominated for an Oscar this evening.( Go Kate!!!) Yes, it is a big spend event but for goodness sake lets hold on to a tradition!

thank you christy pike! too sad that this year they could have donated the money they would have spent on their clothes to families who lost their jobs. in albany, georgia at the tire place 1,400 lost jobs, in quincy florida mushroom plant 300 people lost their jobs. U. S. celebrities help and see needs in every other country but don’t see their own neighbor. (not that it is bad to help other countries)

I cannot believe that this is going on in hollywood while our country in is such crisis. How much money has been spent on the oscars? Do you really think that the “real people” want to watch people who make millions of dollars wear clothes that cost more that most people make in 1 year and and the after oscar parties. Do you really think that we want to watch them talk about how good they have it? Don’t you think that hollywood should show more respect to everyday individuals who are now worried about losing their homes and being able to feed their families?
