Unwrap a whole package of Philly Cream Cheese into a bowl. Pour a whole bottle of Salsa de Tomatillo over top. Then top with chopped fresh cilantro. Use as a dip for crackers, potato chips, veggies, or my favorite—-homemade tortilla chips! Very tasty and perfectly green for St. Patrick’s Day!

The favorite snack in our family is ‘THE DIP’. It’s 2 8 oz packages Philly Cream Cheese (softened), garlic salt (some - sorry not good with measurements), milk - 1/2 cup (2% or whole - don’t bother with low fat or skim - what’s the use?) and a ‘batch’ of green onions (chop them up - of course) mix it up and eat with rippled chips (regular chips don’t work too well)
Mix together philly cream cheese, garlic-herb feta cheese (or plain feta with minced garlic, onion powder, and italian herbs), a couple tablespoons of bread crumbs, and can of crab meat. Spread over sliced french bread and bake at 350 until the cheese is golden brown on top. Yummy….

The best way to eat philly cream cheese is to take 8 oz. philly cream cheese 1 tsp. fresh chopped fine garlic 1/4 tsp grounded garlic 1/2 tsp parsley 1/4 tsp onion powder and mix all together and serve with crackers
I like philly cream cheese, whole on a platter and topped with your favorite homemade salsa or pico de gallo and served with fresh tortilla chips. I vary the salsa, either a fruit, black bean or traditional salsa.
I had this for lunch today. Make a frittata, which is like an open face omlette; then smear it with cream cheese and eat it.
Here’s what you do.
1) Turn on the broiler in your oven.
2) Prepare chicken enchalada stuffing: Chop up a little celentro, onion, diced (cooked) chicken, and chedder cheese; about one cup total.
3) Break two eggs in a glass and scramble them.
4) Put a frying pan on the stove and turn on the heat.
4) Melt enough butter in the pan to cover the bottom.
5) Pour the scrambled eggs in the pan and cook until they start to set; the setting happens really fast so keep an eye on cooking.
6) Sprinkle on chicken enchalada stuffing.
7) Move frying pan from stovetop to oven broiler. Cook under broiler until the cheese melts and the top starts to set. This setting happens fast too, so keep an eye on things.
8) Remove from pan quickly, while the frittata’s still hot and spread cream cheese on top; the cream cheese will melt and be gooey.
Eat hardy.
Now you’re rockin’!
Enjoy!
how do you eat
