Chris Brown's Apology: What Do Celebs Think?

0216king.jpg

Everyone is talking about what went down between Chris Brown and Rihanna. The couple's alleged fight was one of the most talked about topics at the NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix this weekend.

Oprah Winfrey's BFF Gayle King tells "Extra" she rejects Brown's apology. "Right now I can't think of anything that makes me support anything that Chris Brown is saying at this time. And my heart just aches for Rihanna."

Actress Gabrielle Union says she's trying to stay unbiased. "I know them both. Unfortunately, no one knows all the facts yet... what I think is great about this unfortunate situation is it can get us talking about violence... violence is never the answer. It's good to get that dialogue started. I wish this wasn't the catalyst for that... it's never good to use violence as a means to an end."

Akon teamed up with Rihanna for the track "Emergency Room" and he tells the singer, "Keep doing what you're doing baby. Keep things positive!" He added, "She's a strong woman. I think she'll get through it."

"Dollhouse" star Eliza Dushku says any type of violence is unforgivable. "Any way, shape or form of domestic violence is inexcusable in my book."

Well, Well ,Well Gail King, REALLY? I don’t think any thing of what she says! she is just another Hollywood Klingon!! Aparently they arent just on Star Trek anymore… And the only sin that is UNFORGIVABLE is the one the Bible speaks of… Speaking against GOD’s holy Spirit!! Forgiveness doen’t NOT need to come from any of the above mentioned women EXCEPT Rihanna… And IF she chooses to do so.. Thats good for her so she wont take what ever hatred she may have now out against the next man in her life…. Holding hatered make us all worse then the one who wronged us… I DO NOT believe for one moment that no one is beyond REDEMPTION!!! It can happen… Robbert Downey Jr.,Eric Roberts, Shaq, R.Kelley, Michael Jackson, M&M, T.I.. Akon, Charles Barkley, and the list of Celeberty screw ups goes on… These are humans and they all have done something people thought was repulisve or wrong and even UNFORGIVABLE… How ever they all have been forgiven redeamed and embraced by the general POPULATION OF THE WORLD. I DO believe in getting HELP before you become worse then you may be now… We all were not there and we ( None of US ) didn’t see what happened… I could care if a few no bodies can forgive a 19 year old kid!! I could care if GAIL KING does ANYTHING.. Im sure she is not perfact… As for the celebs that have walked a mile in these shoes on one side or the other they are the ones that refuse to give comment and are not taking sides… Because they all know things go wrong … WAY wrong and if the press and public get ahold of it well they are toast!! I hope the very best for both Rihanna ans for Chris he is doing what he needs to do he is getting counceling from a trusted source and reflecting on what he has done over last week end… I do not see him as the kind of guy that is proud of himself..
I am glad to see both of these people involved have the family support they need and TRUE friends in their circles that are willing to be ther to help them and just listen… Alot of what has been leaked out into main stream media is garbage that some one started online and sadly people are more willing to go with that then wait for the truth… Miss Fenty will speak when she is good and ready, And IF I were in her shoes I would NOT allow any stupid JERK with a camera get a photo of me all brused up and allow that fool to make his paycheck on my misery.. So yes I Would go into seclusion. And IF I were in Mr. Brwon’s shoes… HECK yes I’de be in hiding as well and doing just what he is doing GETTING HELP so that I will NEVER EVER EVER HURT the ones I love EVER again… Just how The public and some of these celeberties can forgive R.Kelley for haveing sexual relations with and PEEING ON A CHILD is beyond me… MAYBE GAil King Has R. Kelley over for dinner every night…There are people out there who think NOTHING of buying his muisic STILL!! And WHY are so many people so irate at Chris Brown when M&M sang songs about sick and gross disgusting battery against his wife up to the fantasy of killing her by drowning her in the trunk of his car… AND THATS NOT REPULSIVE TO ANY ONE??
I’ll forgive Chris Brown, He didnt hit me.Unfortunately HE didnt use the good sence GOD gave him and allowed RAGE to take over. We can all say what we THINK we would do in that situation… But unfortunately we won’t really know ‘till we are in it. And YES I am a woman, A mother and I do have a daughter… And still I can say I am not going to hate on him. I will not judge him… And I love both his and Rihanna’s music and will not throw out my C.D’s no matter what any one else thinks… I live in the country where what I like I can listen to… And I like their music. Do I support Rihanna… YES I do… No woman, girl,Child, Eldely person, and even animals EVER deserve to be hit or beat by ANY ONE.. These are two young talented people and they both deserve to live a good life and be afforded another chance to live a life of happiness. These are Someone’s Daughter, Son, Sister, Brother… They deserve all the love an support they can get and IF Will Smith and Jada want to help them both… Then they just won NEW RESPECT in my eyes… It’s good to see there are a few celeberties out there that don’t think they are above making mistakes and messing up so badly that one thinks they may not recover… And those are the comments that need to be heard…. NOT Gail King and Miss Dushku!! May Both of these young peopel become STRONGER as humans and be able to now put a face to the Domestic Violence and now both can talk to the public about GETTING HELP, WALKING AWAY FROM A BAD SITUATION, AND JUST HOW VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE ANSWER! And Chris will be able to put a face on just how men need to get this help if they know they are having issues and cant controll their rage so they wont hurt the ones they love!!! This suject, this issue, this thing caslled DOMESTIC VIOLENCE now has two faces that can get people to see it can happen to ANY ONE!!!

Jay Z hits women & stabbed a man himself.. Akon assaulted someone as well.
These celebrities need to shut. A lot of them have gotten passes for their behaviors. I hope the media will attack them too!!

“NK”, you repulse me. Maybe when it’s YOUR daughter being unzipped in a body bag for you to identify, then you’ll clue in that men hitting women is NEVER acceptable. It doesn’t matter if she started or if she threw the first punch or not. Unless she’s trying to KILL him and he’s acting in self defense, then he’s a gutless coward who I wouldn’t shed a tear over if he got castrated by “Biff” in the prison yard blindspot. An NK, I hope you are tied down and forced sterilization for your idiotic statement. You’re dirt. You don’t deserve to EVER have children.

First of all she did not call the police. A women from the neigborhood did after she saw what was going on and heard her scream. So maybe you should get your facts straight or at least read.

There is nothing in the world I despise more than a man who beats up on a woman. However, the truth hasn’t even been exposed, its only alleged. I know that in today’s America, a woman can hit herself a few times and point the finger and as long as she has a few “cuts and bruises,” its a wrap and the man automatically did it. I’m not saying that Rihanna hit herself, I’m merely making a reference. And as far as King’s comments are concerned, she is showing extreme gender bias and not even giving Chris Brown’s story a single thought. Judge not lest ye be judged. I feel for Rihanna as well, if Chris Brown did physically abuse her then he deserves to be punished. However, let’s just reserve judgement until all the facts come out. Thanks

You can’t hit someone in self defense to the extend of knocking them out. From the news reports, Rihanna was injured in multiple places. It’s not like he took one swing at her to knock her out. He obviously didn’t restrain himself. The fact is that Rihanna came out of the situation severally hurt, while Chris had barely been scratched.

Yes, domestic violence is never excusable. But people keep forgetting the fact that we don’t know what happened. For all we know, Rihanna may have hit him first. I don’t condone violence against women, but if a woman starts a fight, she can’t assume she won’t get hit back. A man should never EVER hit a woman first, because he is bigger and stronger than the woman. But if a woman hits a man first, she knows exactly what she’s getting into. For all we know, she may have tried grabbing the wheel while he was driving, which may be why he pulled over in the first place. If that’s the case, she attempted to kill him and her. For all we know, he may have told her she’s crazy and drove off without her and she may have beat herself up. When you claim that you were choked to the point of unconsciousness, and upon regaining consciousness, you called the police, there should be finger marks on your throat. If all she has are a few bruises and a cut lip, I smell something fishy. Before we’re so quick to judge Chris Brown on what he did, we need to consider all the facts. And since nobody knows that, nobody has the right to put him down by saying that he never should have hit her. If he hit her in self defense, he had every right to do so.
