Did Kira Plastinina Cause Brown/Rihanna Fight?

0212brown.jpg

Speculation continues to swirl around the Chris Brown/Rihanna incident as both superstars remain mum and out of the public eye, reports are flooding the net about what happened -- and what it could mean for the rising stars.

Brown's cousin, Phylicia Thompson, rallied to Chris' defense at her home in Virginia, telling "Extra" that the allegations don't seem to fit Chris' easy-going personality. "Chris was not brought up...to beat on a woman." She goes on to say, "So it had to be something to provoke him for Chris to do it. He wouldn't have done is just to be having fun....But what happens behind closed doors, nobody ever knows."

Rumors today point to teenage fashion designer Kira Plastinina as a possible cause for the lovers' quarrel -- with sources claiming that the 16-year-old sent Brown text messages that were found by Rihanna, which sparked an argument. Chris sang for Plastinina at last year's launch of her Beverly Hills boutique.

Paris Hilton opened up to Radar Online to remove her name as a potential cause of the argument between Chris and Rihanna. "That's ridiculous and an outright lie," Hilton says of reports that suggest she was flirty with Brown. "I was not 'all over him' as some magazine reported -- I said hello and that was it. I love Rihanna and that never happened."

New reports also suggest that the Brown fled the scene of Saturday night's altercation -- while witnesses called 911 after hearing Rihanna scream. Even more disturbing, friends of the 20-year-old starlet -- citing bruises on her neck in December -- say that this may not be the first time that Brown has reportedly gotten rough with Rihanna.

Chris skyrocketed to fame at the age of 16 -- and Los Angeles psychologist and "Extra" Lifechanger Gabe Crenshaw reveals that the 19-year-old may be a classic case of "too much, too soon." Crenshaw says, "I call it a million-dollar slum. The money, the power, the prestige, the world at your fingertips -- yet your head's a mess."

Now, as the LAPD reportedly searches for someone who may have helped Brown flee the scene, both musicians are out of the limelight. Rihanna is reportedly waiting for another round of police interviews, and a case against Brown could be presented to the DA as early as next week.

I don’t see what the uproar is about. PPl fight, this kinda stuff happens all the time. She probably slapped the crap out of him or something while he was driving and he may have pulled over. They probably started to scuffle and she hit her face on something. I doubt that chris just decided he wanted to beat the crap out of her! The only reason everyone is making such a big deal about it is because they are famous and neither one of them are talking about it. She’ll be back with him and release a statement and all of this will blow over.

They should both go their separate ways, it will be a vicious cycle, he will continue to abuse her, Chris, why didn’t you go find a bigger man than yourself and try to beat him up, you won’t because you are a coward and a real man will beat you to a pulp. that’s why you attacked rihanna, she is smaller than you and easy target for the the rage that is within you, violence breeds violence, that is learned behavior and you are continuing the abuse you witnessed growing up, the anger is still with you.

I think that people should stop crucifying chris yes what he did was wrong very wrong but we dont know the whole story so therefore we should not judge him or call him a bad person because we all make stupid mistakes and thats wat chris did he made a mistake and now i hope he learn from it i wanna know wat went wrong for sweet lil chris brown to go crazy and i hope that Rihanna is ok. I do think that they should work it out and talk about it!

To Chris Brown luva and anyone else who is blaming Rihanna, because you are a fan of Chris, you are CRAZY! Your favorite artist Chris Brown needs help, he grew up watching his stepdad beat his mom, so my heart goes out to him, but he is not a little boy anymore and he had no business beating on a woman. If it was not Rihanna, it would have been someone else, his abuse of her had more to do with the fact that he has an anger management problem. I can understand you being a fan of his music, but that separate from from the altercation with Rihanna.
Don’t rip on Rihanna because you have a crush on him, you can support him without putting her down.

New details have emerged about the midnight altercation between Chris Brown and Rihanna that led to Brown being booked on a felony criminal threat charge on Sunday.

“Chris knocked her around,” a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. “Black eye, blood, bruises. She had to be treated by a doctor.”

A police source confirms to PEOPLE that the singer suffered a black eye as well as “a swollen split lip and two red and purple contusions on either side of her forehead.”

The source, who described police photos of Rihanna, added, “She looked distraught and in a lot of pain. Her eyes were closed because she was looking down.”

The Barbados-bred beauty, 20 – who is currently in “a safe place,” says a friend – is cooperating with detectives, according to the Los Angeles Times. Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton has said he expects the case will be handed over to the district attorney’s office on Tuesday or Wednesday. At that time, the prosecutors could charge Brown, 19, with more crimes.

The case could be affected by how much Rihanna is willing to forgive her boyfriend. “Prosecutors back off somewhat when they see a couple trying to work out their own issues,” says Steve Sitkoff, an L.A. defense attorney. But, says the friend, “I would be so sad if she went back to him.”

In the meantime, both stars have canceled upcoming appearances: The NBA has issued a statement that Brown will no longer participate in their All-Star Game events in Phoenix this weekend, while Rihanna backed out of a Friday night concert in Malaysia.

Friends Call Brown a Good Kid
News of the alleged assault stunned fans and friends alike. Brown, known for his charm and Michael Jackson-style moves, has always been seen as a good kid. “I’ve never known Chris to be combative,” says his high school gym teacher from Tappahannock, Va., Lyn Amos. “He’s always low-key, easygoing.” Adds Jean Segar, a restaurant owner who has known Brown since he was a child: “He’s such a mild-mannered person. It’s hard for me to believe [the charge].”

What makes the allegations even more shocking is that Brown has claimed his mother was physically abused by his former stepfather. “He made me terrified all the time,” Brown told Giant, adding, “I hate him to this day.”

The abuse allegations could have a long-lasting impact on Brown’s career. On Monday, Wrigley temporarily suspended his Doublemint commercials, and as an industry source points out, “A lot of his fans are women.”

Speaking out for the first time since his son’s arrest, Chris Brown’s biological father, Clinton Brown, tells PEOPLE his son is at home, reflective and filled with concern.

“He’s reflecting on this situation,” Brown, 44, a corrections officer, tells PEOPLE in an interview at his home outside Tappahannock, Va. “He’s very remorseful. He’s very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that [Rihanna’s] okay.

“This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation,” Brown continues. “Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip.”

And Brown – who flew to Los Angeles to attend the Grammys with his son but never made it to the show – says there are “two sides to every story.”

“If you are on his side, you are on his side,” he says. “Just because someone trips, if you are truly a fan, you are not going to demonize him instantaneously.”

The 19-year-old singer is under police investigation in Los Angeles for allegedly beating Rihanna, 20, early last Sunday morning.

Hello all they are two young for this kind of relationship. Chris needs a mentor like Will Smith. They need to go hier separate ways after this blows over. I have always spoke highly and think highly of Chris I think it’s more to this story that meets the eye
