Brown, Rihanna Cancel Gigs

0210brown.jpg

The Chris Brown scandal continues today, with reported victim Rihanna pulling out of a Malaysian concert and Brown withdrawing from NBA All-Star events.

"Chris Brown has withdrawn from NBA All-Star events," an NBA rep confirmed to "Extra." The singer was scheduled to participate in All-Star festivities, as well as play in a celebrity basketball game.

Rihanna, confirmed in various reports as the victim in the alleged incident Sunday morning, has postponed a Friday concert in Malaysia -- the next stop on her "Good Girl Gone Bad" tour. Malaysia's Pineapple Concerts confirmed to the AP that the singer's show had to be rescheduled "in light of recent events involving Rihanna."

The L.A. Times is reporting that Rihanna -- whose real name is Robyn Fenty -- is cooperating with police in a battery investigation of Brown. Sources tell the paper that Rihanna told police that Chris hurt her after the couple left Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party together -- and that their altercation left the singer with bruises and a scratch on her face. Other sources claim Rihanna suffered a serious contusion, swelling, a split lip, bite marks and a bloody nose.

"Extra" uncovered a lost interview in which Brown discussed a history of domestic abuse in his family -- and in late 2007, Brown went on the "Tyra Banks Show" and talked about how watching his mother be a victim of physical abuse changed him. "Basically, towards women -- I treat them differently. I don't want to put a woman through the same things that person put my mom through... it just changed me."

Rihanna is expected to travel to her home in Barbados to be with her family. X17 tells "Extra" Chris was spotted with his entourage hopping a private jet in Van Nuys, California. The agency suspected the pop star might be en route to Las Vegas, but they boarded a Gulfstream IV, a plane they say is too large for the 45-minute flight from the L.A. to Las Vegas.

Brown is scheduled to be arraigned March 5.

well if chris does that he shouldn’t have, Rihanna is too sweet to be beaten. They need to think for theirselves!

I feel bad for Rihanna because she probably never saw this coming….behavior (because of the abuse he witnessed) such as Chris’s usually doesn’t appear until one is in a serious relationship…..there is no going back to this guy….he has too many unresolved issues and there is a chance she may not survive the next beating…..learn and heal from this Rihanna and move on!

Law enforcement sources have now gotten specific with us… police took pictures of Rihanna’s injuries and they are “horrific.”

As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer’s face — there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.

And we now know this… Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that’s what did the damage. There was no object used in the alleged attack.

Rihanna refused treatment at the scene, but before she left cops took photos. We’re told the photos alone are “devastating proof of abuse.”

And we’ve learned it was not Rihanna who called 911. Someone in the area heard her screams and called 911

For any man to react to violance, just makes him a boy. And he should know better after his mother was abused in front of him. Now the only thing their fans, friend’s and family can do is prey for them. It’s a terrible situation and we can only hope they will both get the help they need to over come and rise above this.

It doesn’t matter what happened in this story or how much we know about it. the truth of the matter is, he hit her and left many brusies, period. And yes I like Chris Brown and I am dissapointed at him, a real man never lay hand on a woman, the only reason for him to do that is because he is weak and the only way he knows how to solve a problem is through abusive behaviour and that is unacceptable.

There is absolutely NO excuse for Chris Brown to attack Rihanna. There are two sides of every story…Rihanna could have hit him first or whatever but he’s not the one with the bruises on his face or the broken jaw! Whatever happened, two grown adults shouldn’t resort to violence. It’s a sad situation but I hope there is justice.

No one knows the whole story, some people on here talking a lot of Sh*t. If chis didn’t do it, Rihanna would be ok, and this wouldn’t be all over the news and the internet. Everyone just need to leave it up to the JUDGE AND STOP TALKING SH*T.

WHO KNOWS IF WE’LL EVER KNOW THE WHOLE STORY & WHAT REALLY HAPPENED THAT NIGHT, BUT I’M SURE ALOT OF STORIES WILL CONTINUE TO BE TOLD & RUMORS THAT WILL BE MADE UP TO ADD TO THE NONSENSE OF IT ALL. THEY BOTH WHERE WRONG NO MATTER WHAT IS SAID! THEY ARE BOTH ADULTS! PERIOD! AND SECOND WHEN SOMETHING DRASTIC LIKE THIS HAPPENS, EXPECIALLY WITH STARS, IT BLOWS UP IN THE MEDIA & EVERYONE TAKES IT TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL & IT DOESN’T ADD WATER TO THE FIRE, BUT IT ADDS MORE FUEL. I WISH BOTH OF THEM THE BEST. NO-ONE IS PERFECT, EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES. THIS WILL BE A LEARNING PROCESS FOR THE BOTH OF THEM. THEY WILL HAVE TO OVERCOME THE MEDIA, THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS, FANS, AND MOST OF ALL THEIR CAREERS.

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! You’re going to risk all your hard work and future because you can’t control your temper against your woman. This is exactly why I got divorced from my abuser, so my son would not grow up and do what he saw, and end up hitting his girlfriend or wife. I am so disappointed, I thought Chris was such a good role model for my son, now I have to explain to him all this mess. I will pray for both of them.

I feel sorry for the both of them. Robyn who had to suffer under his hand. And Chris who watched his mom suffer under another man’s hand. This is a profound example why our children shouldn’t watch their parent being abuse or mistreated. Eventually, that very child will grow up and demonstrate the very thing s/ he saw as a child. I really hope that Chris would see that he has a problem and he needs to get some help. If he don’t get that help we can watch and see that his problem could get worse. For him, it’s not about what the person said or did. It’s about how he respond to it. He is a great singer and performance, but is he a strong man. A strong man is a man who can control himself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Have a good one!
