Bikini Girl Gets the 'Idol' Boot!

The back-and-forth between judge Kara DioGuardi and Katrina "Bikini Girl" Darrell is over -- Darrell failed to impress the "American Idol" judges last night, and she and her bathing suit were sent packing!

Last night marked the group competition, and Katrina was part of Team Diva. The singer, known for sporting a teeny bikini to her first "Idol" audition, left her group's rehearsal early to go to bed. Her team finally found her in the morning and she joined them at the last minute to sing for the judges. When Darrell's teammate, Jasmine Murray, was the only one of Team Diva to make the cut, Katrina refused to congratulate her.

Seventy-five "Idol" hopefuls made it through Round Two of Hollywood -- and will duke it out in Round Three! Find out who makes the cut when "American Idol" returns next Tuesday on FOX.

She wasn’t serious about using American Idol as a stepping stone to a music career from the get go…she just used the show for exposure (pun intended)..she had so many complaints..let her team down..acted like she can do anything she wants…(she was successful in that part..she just reappeared when she wanted to)…she couldn’t care less…Good thing Kara was given the chance to say who stays & who goes when bikini girl’s team was on..That was sweet revenge..Bikini girl bashed Kara during the audition..BAD MOVE..NEVER against a judge…Now..she’s gone..YES!!!The show would be just a big joke if they kept the likes of her…

This young lady had her fun and that is great. But, she is not Idol material. She doesn’t have to act so FAKE. She needs to know be yourself and you can get what you want acting like a young women not a playboy bunny!

I agree with Mal- bikini girl should become the new host. Kara “insecure” DioGuardi needs to go and the will the real talent please stand up!

Goodbye and good riddance. It’s a shame she took at spot from someone who may have been more talented and would have taken this competition seriously.

although very beautiful…and if this was a modeling contest she deserves to be there. fact is, she is not a good enough singer to have made the 1st cut, but did. she should count her blessings to have gone farther than the 1st auditions. there were plenty of better/equal singers that didn’t make the cut and shouldn’t have.

It was the envious female judges who made it difficult for Katrina to concentrate on her performance without her Bikini on. I did notice the male judges had no problem with her, and were all set to put her through.
