Bale: 'Dark' History with 'Terminator' Employee?

Christian Bale ripped into the director of photography, Shane Hurlbut, on the set of "Terminator Salvation" -- but do the two have a shaky past?

That's true, Batman! Reportedly, Bale and Hurlbut butted heads since production started. "Extra" friend Casey worked on the set -- and dished some info on the expletive-laced rant to "Extra."

"Everybody enjoyed working with him (Bale)," said Casey, adding, "Maybe he was just having a bad day and took it out on the last person that sent him over the edge."

"Terminator Salvation" hits theatres May 22.

I don’t really get why this is such a big deal either. Doubtless that actors have been having fits of temper since the craft was created. The only difference now is that, with the age of reality TV and YouTube, everyone else gets to watch and simper, “Poor baby,” over some knucklehead who probably deserved the tongue lashing anyway.

It is sickning to hear Bale’s tyraid over and over. He has not one bit of class. Shame on him!!

I don’t really see the big deal. He’s clearly just intense about his work, which one has to be to be as good as he is. It takes a lot of concentration to get it right as an actor, and it sounds like this guy had done this a couple of times already. And he wouldn’t shut up and stop defending himself. If you’ve screwed up someone’s scene a couple of times already because you are not paying attention,you should be apologetic and be willing to take it when they get frustrated without talking back. Honestly, that guy probably did deserve to have his butt kicked.
