Jessica Simpson received media flack after being pictured in a pair of high-waisted jeans and a leopard belt. Simpson's jeans weren't cheap -- they're Carpenter jeans by the Los Angeles-based Grey Ant, and they retail for over $300!

Here’s the thing…if you’re wasp waisted with hips and a butt (typical pear shape) and have a long torso and short legs, a sytle that sits on the natural waist is a GODSEND. It doesn’t look so good on her figure, but trust me, I’m not the only one stuck with my 90s denim because modern jeans DO NOT FIT.
I would have never worn those jeans but she looks awesome. She only weighs 5 pounds more than i do and shes taller. The media shouldn’t pick on healthy looking women.

I think that Jessica is far smarter than we give her credit for and I think her business sense is on point. I believe she was going to a country music type deal and she wore this outfit (the girl knows how to dress come on now) and she did it for publicity…bad or good it still keeps your face and name before the money spending public

i think you she look ok but she should know that those jeans or that outfit she was wearing made her look bad she look health and looks like she is in love or just tired of dieting all the time so she aet a cook or 2
Jessica looks great. She has a shapely body that most women would be very happy to display! I agree with her sister and everyone should leave her alone. Her high waisted jeans look a lot better than so many of the women I have seen with their big belly and overhang haunches sticking out.

jeans burn them ugly things, and yes they do make her look awful and fat… Why you ask.. because they do not fit her she does not have a figure anymore the rolls took it..i bet the button is not done looks like she laid down and squeezed her fat as* into those jeans and the belt had to be on her to cover her fat rolls and the button undone come on yall that outfit makes her look fat!!!!!!!!
Ashlee argued that celebs should not be held up to a different standard, but let’s be realistic…they are. Jessica should be aware, especially because she has been known for her “hot bod” with the “Dukes of Hazzard” days; also, she is relatively a little bit short so weight comes on a lot more easily : / Tough cookies! And what was she thinking with those jeans?!
Those jeans are truly hideous, but she doesn’t exactly look *fat*. Her body actually looks like a real woman’s body. This is the kind of body we should be holding up as a standard of beauty, as opposed to Paris “the walking skeleton” Hilton. Seriously, Jessica Simpson, fat?
