VOTE: Sarah Palin Takes on the Media

Two months after the presidential election, former VP wannabe Sarah Palin is taking on the media! Documentary film writer/director John Ziegler gave Governor Palin a chance to set the record straight on what she thought really happened during the 2008 campaign, and why she believes the news coverage was biased.

"Extra" wants to know what you think!

This is for: ignorant people on this forum, well i guess you have a point there. I would find a comment more credible if someone would just state, ” I don’t like obama because he is black”. So you do have a good point there. Maybe people are holding back their true feelings and saying everything else but that comment.

Sarah Palin and her family dresed nice before the vp race. I guess the republican aides who snitched on her and her family thought they dressed like the “beverly hillbillies” there was nothing wrong with their clothing before, the campaign aides thought they would dress them in designer duds that they would win the race. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. They looked fine before, why did the campaign aides trash her to the media? Not good and it is not fair to Sarah and her family.

- their attire was fine bfore the nomination

how about past president and their families that have redcorated the white house. I saw on tv the china laura bush bought and couldn’t believe the price. They all spend at our expense. how do we stop them from spending so much?

- how do we stop the presidensts from spending too much?

everyone was so concerned about how much money Sarah palin spent on clothes but watch the news and it’s all about what will Michelle and the daughters wear and how they get to redecorate the rooms they will be in and what school they will be going too?
All they do is talk about things that are going to cost alot of tax payers money and I really think they should set a good example by not spending so much and try saving the tax payers money

oh face it as much as you all admit tht u r not racist, i don’t buy that. It’s all about barck being black. you can beat around the bush all you want but the truth be known, it has to do with his skin color, just because he is black.don’t justify to me that you are not racist when in fact you are. you have said everything else but not mentioned we don’t like him because we are racist and don’t like blacks. simple end of story and i will not comment back to you because everything coming out of your mouth is bullsh*t. I will not waste my time with ignorant people. goodbye have a happy life, i hope someone else comments on my behalf, i have had it with this forum.

I’m really really interested in exactly what “lies” you believe Ms. Palin told about Barack Obama??

Sarah got tougher questions, and was constantly ridiculed by the media from her accent, to the state she governs, to her children, right on down to her ATTIRE and MONEY??

Obama was ALWAYS treated with kid gloves. NO tough questions, only the ones he’d approve of himself! I can hardly recall any negativity from the press regarding the “chosen one”.. yet the media was all over EVERY word mis-spoken on the McCain/Palin side of the contest!!?

Obama said “he’d been to all 57 states”? That wasn’t paid a bit of attention, but when it came to continents it was all about Ms. Palin?

And rumors aren’t just rumors when it comes to the whirl-wind speculations surround mr. messiah. There are only “rumors” when proven WRONG? And none of the implications regarding Mr. Oblahma have been solidified as “false”!

You’re likely one whom believes with all the corruption taking place in Chicago right now, that Mr. Obama himself hasn’t been involved with a single bit of it?? Delusional people, illusional speeches, and a backing of mysterious MONEY is what got this man elected. TOO MANY people (especially college age) wanted to make “history” this election year.. instead of looking at both resumes on paper to see whom was truly more qualified for the job.

If 1/2 of the things came out out the”new president” he wouldn’t have been elected either. They brought up about her daughter getting p.g. out of marriage—so was Obama! He continually said stupid things that the press didn’t cover, if the republicans did anything the press was on it like a dog on a bone. The press are the ones that elected the new president, not the voters. Palin was slammed from every which way and back—hopefully that won’t be so in the future.

The woman who spewed lies about Obama is whining about ‘the media wasn’t fair to her’? Listen to yourself, Palin - you are practicing double standards yourself. Whining about Katie Couric? Palin couldn’t mention ONE publication that she read. Palin repeated lies even AFTER McCain’s office said ‘STOP’.

I don’t believe she was treated as fairly as Obama. He was NOT ask the same questions as her. He continued to say the same thing over and over. And he also backed off on when he would withdraw out of Iraq after he won the nomination. I NO LONGER WATCH THE VIEW. I CAN’T STAND TO LISTEN TO THEIR ONE SIDED OPINIONS. AND CURIK STINKS! THERE, I FEEL BETTER.

YOU’RE ONLY GONNA WISH YOU HAD SARAH PALIN IN THE WHITE HOUSE BEFORE THIS FIRST YEAR WITH THE CHOSEN ONE IS UP! CHICAGO IS ONLY THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG ON WHAT YOU’LL SOON LEARN ABOUT THE PRECIOUS PRESIDENT ELECT.

ALSO, WHY DO YOU THINK “REDNECKS” ARE SUCH A “MINORITY”?? IF YOUR DEFINITION OF A REDNECK IS PEOPLE WITH MORALS, BELIEVERS IN GOD, AND BEING DOWN TO EARTH WITH A GIVING HEART, INSTEAD OF A GREEDY ONE,.. THEN I’D VENTURE TO SAY THAT REDNECKS ARE INDEED NOT THE MINORITY. YOUR BIGOTRY CONSUMES YOU, YOU EASILY CATEGORIZE PEOPLE INTO THE WEALTHY AND POOR… THAT- THEREFORE- MAKES YOU THE MINORITY!

Why are you copy pasting your same rediculous message all over these forum boards?? In ALL threads that speak out of their dislike for Obama, you post your copy/paste rant like it’s supposed to dismiss the opinion stated??

Opinions are like a-holes, and everyone has one, yours is apparently developing hemroids.. Get over yourself and learn to DEAL with opposite opinions aleady. So lame.

Lee Greenwood, God Bless The USA Lyrics

If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.

From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea,

From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well, there’s pride in every American heart,
and it’s time to stand and say:

I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A

“Beer For My Horses” Toby Keith

Well a man come on the 6 o’clock news
Said somebody’s been shot, somebody’s been abused
Somebody blew up a building
Somebody stole a car
Somebody got away
Somebody didn’t get too far yeah
They didn’t get too far

Grandpappy told my pappy, back in my day, son
A man had to answer for the wicked that he done
Take all the rope in Texas
Find a tall oak tree, round up all of them bad boys
Hang them high in the street for all the people to see that

Justice is the one thing you should always find
You got to saddle up your boys
You got to draw a hard line
When the gun smoke settles we’ll sing a victory tune
We’ll all meet back at the local saloon
We’ll raise up our glasses against evil forces
Singing whiskey for my men, beer for my horses

We got too many gangsters doing dirty deeds
We’ve got too much corruption, too much crime in the streets
It’s time the long arm of the law put a few more in the ground
Send ‘em all to their maker and he’ll settle ‘em down
You can bet he’ll set ‘em down ‘cause
Justice is the one thing you should always find.

Artist: Jennings Waylon
Song: America
Some have said, down through history
If you last it’s a mystery
But I guess they don’t know, what they’re talking about
From the mountains down to the sea
You’ve become such a habit with me
America, Amer-ica

Well I come from, down around Tennesee
But the people in California
Are nice to me, Amer-ica
It don’t matter where I may roam
Tell you people that it’s home sweet home
America, Amer-ica
And my brothers are all black and white, yellow too
And the red man is right, to expect a little from you
Promise and then follow through, America
And the men, who fell on the plains
And lived, through hardship and pain
America, Amer-ica
And the men who could not fight
In a war that didn’t seem right
You let them come home, America Tell you people that it’s home sweet home
America, Amer-ica
America, Amer-ica

We can’t have “dukes of hazzard” people in the white house. by the way I loved that show. Sarah needs to get political savvy before she runs in 2012. We need a woman in the white house anyway.
