The 16-year-old son of John Travolta has died while vacationing the in Bahamas with Travolta and wife Kelly Preston.

Rand Memorial Hospital in the Bahamas confirmed the death to TMZ.

Reuters reports Jett Travolta, 16, suffered a seizure at his family's vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island, attorney Michael Ossi said. Ossi also confirmed attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene.

Travolta has denied that his son is autistic, but confirmed that he suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome, which often leads to heart disease.

Travolta and Preston also have an 8-year-old daughter, Ella Blue.

Dear John and Kellie, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful child. I know at this time words dont help, but when you have time to mourn, and start healing, keep in mind our loss is always the Lord’s gain. Being a grandmother of a grandson who has Aspenbergers syndrome, and a mother of a child with ADD-HD, I understand the extra heartache that comes with all we endure as parents.May the Lord hold the three of you close in his arms while you heal from your loss, God Bless!

I tuned in to EXTRA to hear about the tragedy that John Travolta has had - only to see Linsay Lohman fighting with her boyfriend, etc etc, and Kathy Gifford cursing as usual. Where are your priorities? Your program just gets trashier and trashier.
