John, Kelly, and family,
I want you to know that I can share in you lost because I lost my son Scott to Leukemia Feb. 27, 1997. We went to St.Jude in Memphis from 5-7-92 until 11-11-96 when they sent us home. Scott lated until Thurs., 2-27-97. The next Thurs. he 3-6-76 he would have been 21. He loved to hunt, fish, and girls ofcourse.
As of today we are still having trouble dealing with the pain which never goes away. Sorry but that is just how it is.
God Bless all of you at this time in your life.

Hey Doug, people like you keep the story going, and besides there is nothing wrong with people being caring and compassionate and pouring out their hearts, they all care. you are not forum manager and you can’t stop people from stating how they feel.

I have been a fan for a long time. I admire your loyalty to each other, the kind and generous things you have done that didn’t make the news, your sense of humor - I just feel like you are a part of my family and honestly, my heart breaks for you. There are no words that will bring back a child - but at some point you will realize that he has physically gone but he is with you always.

I am so sorry and I know words mean so little at this time when your heart is so heavy. There is something that someone said to me when I lost my mother (who was like my best friend, and my child) time will heal the pain, and you will remember the joy of the memories. The first time you really laugh at a memory, you know you have started to heal. You will never forget what you had, therefore you remember the joy, and the pain starts to lessen. It realy does. I promise. God bless you and keep you close during this difficult time

Dear John, Kelly & Ella
When you have gone through so much pain that you just want to crawl up in a ball, you then realize there are loved ones around you to help you through.
I have gotten through a parents divorce at the age your Ella is now, a mothers breakdown, my brother dying, my mother, sister and now father survived a battle of cancer, my little buddy who died of luekemia at age 11.
So I feel your pain and wish more then anything that comfort comes your way.
I wish one day I could be lucky enough to meet such pure, loving and a bright family (you).
God bless you all
Sandy

John, Kelly and Ella,

America grieves with you! He was so fortunate to have a family that loved him as you did. You gave him 16 wonderful years and those memories will last for all of your lifetime. Bless you all.

Dear John, Kelly and Ella: No words cannot help what you are going through at this time. I would like to share a poem from an unknown author which was give to me when we lost our nephew suddenly a few years ago.

I’M FREE
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his Hand when I head Him call
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work to play
Talks left undone must stay that way
I found that place at the close of day

If my passing has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship share, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss

Be not burned with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow
My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch

Perhaps my time seemed all to brief
Don’t lenghten it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now, He set me free
