michael phelps will make about 100 million on all the endorsements. he had the most gold medals so that makes him very bankable.

Even if the star doesn’t make that type of money _someone_ will. Stars sell a movie so studios need to pay for their services. There’s still money to burn after that. We just don’t know see the people behind the scenes that are making the real big money. It’s not like the producers, studio bosses and the like are standing in the soup line to give stars the big paycheck.

For one thing I am sick to death of all these stars, from actress,to talk show hosts,athletes etc., making millions of dollars! IF you can not live on let’s say a million a year you have a really big problem! They do NOT need 20 to 30 million dollars to survive on. Everyone can be replaced. I am sure there are people out there who would do the same job for less to provide nicely for thier family! Having two, three, four houses worth millions is so stupid, greedy and so on! IF I made that kind of money I would be spending more than half on single mothers, the hungery, education, children in poverty, I don’t need millions and millions of dollars to live comfortably! I sure as hell don’t need to spend thousands on clothes, jewerly, furs etc. I can go to tjmaxx or hell macys and get some nice clothes to wear! These people in the lime light are materialistic and showing no compassion for the hard working! Take JLo she has to have a certain water and certain sheets in her hotal room and perfume sprayed etc., according to news that is! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Get over your self! They would not be there if it were not for us everyday people! Get a clue Hollywood you will not be on top for ever look at poor Ed M. he was loosing his house and Donald T. was going to buy it! These stars need to come down to reality and quick! That goes for Oprah to, no one is worth that much money, Yes some give to charity but they won’t be in finacial hard times like the rest of the country! If every star and athlet lived on just one million a year the country might have a chance a small one but a start to pulling out of the hard times!30 million for a movie! I ask what could be done with the 29 million if she was only paid one million! 29 million could do a lot for single mothers working thier butts off to provide, it could feed a lot of homeless, it could provide some with college education, it could raise alot of police officers salaries, it could support alot of military families, It could pay some families doctors bills who can’t figure out how they are going to pay them and continue the care for a loved one! Yes it could do alot! They may have worked hard to get there but no one on tv is worth that much including athlets as well! Everyone works hard in America and I do not see them getting this kind of money for thier hard work! I see mothers so tired from working two jobs and coming home to thier kids and trying the best they can to provide I see fathers doing the same as well, coming home exausted to the bone and still wondering if the morgage will be paid or if christmas presents can be bought! I see people who have worked hard all thier life to be told they will be layed off! Then I see these stars treat people the way they do with disrepect to the very people that put them into fame! Acting the way they do, it is so childish, disrespectful, uncaring, and they really need to get over themselves. Come to my house and you will soon know what reality is all about and hard work because I will show you! We the people! Not we the Hollywood!

soon the movie directors are going to be hitting up washington to bail them out financially, hope that never happens.

its a great happy distraction in these dismal times, she should get her piece of the pie she is a big part of the reason people saw the first movie. at least somebody is making money and i am sure she will spread the love around

Well I am glad that since w are in troubled times and the rest of us work hard to put food on the table and pay the bills she can justify getting $30 million for a movie to buy her designer clothes…not the real world
