i think that vanessa would be a really cute jane and even lea, i think she would be just an awsome jane. I think that she could play the part.

I dont think that vanessa is right for any twilight role. She only wants it because hsm is over and she needs to restart fandom. most of the twilight characters are unknown and it should stay that way!! I just cant picture it being twilight with vanessa in it. like someone said what are we going to make the jonas brothers part of the voltari

People stop overeacting. For all we know, she will turn out fine the same way Robert Pattinson did. Remember how we all hated him since we thought he’s better off as Cedric? We were wrong right?

As far as acting skills, i’m pretty sure she has it. Out of the thousand girls who auditioned, she gets to be 1 of the 3 seriously considered. She must have shown how to dig in to Leah’s character to the director and stephenie that’s why she made it this far.

She fits Leah’s character best among the 3 actresses because of her looks/physique. Taylor is short to be frank so we can’t have someone taller than him. Let’s not add more headache for the director by getting someone who looks older or taller than Taylor.

Vanessa has finally moved on from her Disney image. Good job for her.

Now, let’s all leave it up to Chris and Stephenie to carefully choose who among them can play Leah.

I think vanessa would make a great Leah. I mean she has the looks! If its on DVD, I’d rewatch it over and over. She’s good with anything! If u all disagree, its fine!! Everyone has different opinions. But I think she’d b great. U never kno unless u watch it! She may b great, she may not b, but let’s see!!

I think the role of Leah or Jane could go to an unknown with acting skills. I think they should save the money and use it on special effects than get someone who would demand a higher paycheck and cheese up the screen.

I re-read the “presentation” of Leah when I heard about this, and I think her physical description really fits Vanessa: one year older than Bella, exoticaly pretty, and well, then we find out she’s sorta mean looking :)

1st off Jakson Rathbone was “Disney”, but he is an awesome Jasper.
2nd, Everyone needs to realize that if Vannessa does get cast, she will be playing a part, just like she played a PART in HSM. They aren’t the character they play and I think she would be a good leah, plus she’ll have to shave her head in eclipse :) and like razedinaz says if your a true fan you’ll see NM regardless (probably numerous times.) All you overly dramatics, who are in hysterics and threatening to boycot the film if someone you don’t like gets cast, calm down! Just remember back when you hated Rob, then Nikki, then Taylor and it looks like you saw Twilight and loved it anyway. If we can overlook all the crapy SFX in twilight, I’m sure we can over look a poorly cast minor part in New Moon.

She would be awful as Leah and an even worse Jane. They’re both really strong characters and she would never pull it off. Sorry to all the people who like her but she’s awful.

i think she would be more like leah then jane, because i think leah has this sort of darky look and whne vanessa has eyeliner on she could play her(the look) but in acting terms, i’m not really sure she could play a dark depressed leah.
