Great post rhyanna…and I see absolutely nothing wrong with this event being publicized here. Don’t celebrities vote like everybody else? lol

This IS an historic event for many different reasons….sad that others can’t let those who feel that way enjoy it

i would like to say this on the eve of a new beginning, for change is no longer coming, it is here.
I know the blacks have a lot to be grateful for, and still more needs to be done.
I also know that there are others, Also Americans that have hopes for the future, such as Native Americans who were herded like cattle and placed on land, unable to sustain them, some with harsh conditions.
Then there are the women who struggle, many now raising their children alone.

So i ask this, can we put aside all differences, stop discrimination for all and work together for a better future for us all?

If we are to regain what we have lost, the sense of security, the sense of freedom, we must join together and be americans, not just jewish, native american, mexican, black, or white. For we are all one, we are Americans. so be proud to be American and allow everyone the right to be different, think different, laugh different, yet still American.

I can’t wait to see BARACK sworn in as President tomorrow… and you can be sure that I will be praying for him and his family. He has a long hard road ahead of him.

I want to personally thank Extra for doing this. Bringing this historic inauguration to as large an audience as possible is a good thing for America. I will tune in to see what’s going on.

I just heard on tv that obama is being left with a 3 trillion federal deficit. I hope we don’t end up like a 3rd world country. The U.S. has the money making machine, how much would it cost for them to print money? they have the money making presses and the paper, why don’t they just print up a bunch of money and they also have Fort Knox, loaded wih gold, they have the means, they need to tap into it.
