With her credentials, it goes to show that with her brains/knowledge she does not need to be worry about what she will be wearing. She is simple and that works for her and I like her for it. Have a celebration but it does not have to be so elaborate. Also, for the people who are asking about the $160 million. If you watch the news, read the paper or go on the internet you would have known how much it is costing. The highest in history. Again if you watch tv shows or read the paper or went on the internet you would have known they have been comparing Obama’s wife to Jackie Kennedy in what she wears and the way she conducts herself. The important thing is to see if Obama gets us on the right track and gets us out of this mess we are in. Not the dress and the big parties.

To the person who says I am a sick person! Because I said that people are more interested in what the president and his wife are going to wear, rather than talk about the problems in the world such as soldiers dying, hunger, poverty etc., and what he will do. It is my loved one not yours! I understand we are making history and change in the world but when we are more interested in what they will wear there is a problem. Jackie Kennedy and Micelle are 2 different people. It’s like apples and oranges. I have not once heard her on tv or in the newspapers or the web that she thinks she is like JacKie. Michelle is a very gracious and respectful person. They are both fine ladies and rest in peace Jacie Kennedy Onassis.

I lost a family member while they were fighting for the protection of this country and to hear that this is all that is on peoples mind of what they will be wearing and the big party is saddening! Doom and gloom is when you finally are able to bury your loved one. Just because someone has opion does not make them negative, everyone has the right to state how they feel or what they think, that is why it is called freedom. When you can’t even have a open casket that is doom and gloom! Will the troops who are risking thier lives be there? NO! I understand that it is history making etc. But for that party and what they will wear being the only thing talked about right now is very saddening because my loved one who lost thier life will not be able to see it! They won’t be able to discuss what he and his family was wearing or see how great the party was! But to say someone is negative or doom or gloom well as I said in this country you have the right to say and feel the way you want whether others like it or not! It really does not matter what will be spent on the party or what they wear, what matters is if things will get better. We all want to celebrate a new president yes but that is not going to make him a better president in the future. I hope he is better for all of america but only time will tell.

You only have to turn on the news from msn, to local news, to worldwide news to hear about how much is going to be spent! It is history making! No you can not always believe everything reported but none the less that is what is being reported and plastered all over! As it was said a party and your clothing does not make you a better president! Some of that money could be saved and help people! So why do they have to spend that muchI is it because they have to? Is it because they want to? Does it show us he can party in style and dress in style to run America? That goes for all past and future presidents! A huge party is not needed to be sworn in to office and to be able to run this country! If your intelligent enough, have the right experience, have common sense, have we the people in mind, care about the american people, care about this country then a designer suit will not make him able to do his job better or a huge party! I don’t care if he has jeans or PJ’s on as long as he does his job right! But spending this kind of money on this is not ethically, morally right with the way times are!
