Actor/Environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio has been named the newest ambassador of Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer. The royalties of the deal will support major environment initiatives, and Leo is also donating millions out of his own pocket! DiCaprio will be endorsing the TAG Heuer Day-Date Carerra watch.

DiCaprio has been praised by environmental groups for opting to fly on commercial flights instead of chartering private jets. He also drives a hybrid car and his home has solar panels. In 2007, DiCaprio co-wrote, co-produced and narrated the documentary "The 11th Hour" -- about the world's eco-system.

TAG Heuer and Brad Pitt's six-year contract ended in December 2008.
