i think the best actor to play jacop in the new moon would be Steven Strait…he is just right ..the smile,,the pain on his face,,,that’s exactly what bella is talking about in the story..even the angry face will suit him..so i think he is the best

I loved the Twilight series (all 4 books)and was very disappointed with the movie. Stephanie had details that were so believable (I researched) that you could almost believe it to be true.
Jacob is such an important character in the story that he should be Native American, as should Seth, Sam, Quill and all the others representing the tribe. I was very disappointed that Summit Entertainment did not see this to be a major factor. You would think that with the technology and distance we’ve come with movies that nothing would be spared. I’m Bannock Shoshoni and find this error of not portraying Native Culture for the parts,…. an outrage. This story plot is based on the local Tribes legend and they should be honored. Very upset that you just don’t get it!!! Make the movie as beliebable as the books. I’m sure it’s too late for changes in New Moon but I feel if you would correct ALL the errors that the public would embrace this story as further movies follow the sequence.

As soon as I got the great news about Taylor getting to keep his role as Jacob I almost had a heart attack. I was skeptical towards him at first - just like with Rob but I think they couldn’t possibly do any better than him. So YAY for Taylor!

Finally the good news,Taylor will always be Jacob. Rob did a really good job like Edward in my opinion the only ones after reading the books that should be for consideration are Bella and Jasper. Hopefully her acting will be more relax for new moon she looks like if she were reading the lines all the time. For Jasper he was supose to be in the military and I still dont see any connection with that part of him at all. Well I’m looking forward to go and see what happen on new moon, hopefully they will surprise me and change my mind… everybody deserves a second chance.

umm….Taylor is totally awsome at this….Alice was too tall to be Alice(Ashlea Greene)…..Rosalie wasn’t quite what any of us expected….and Edward,totally not hot enough. Taylor is practically perfect. If any of you have met him(like have have) you will start to notice he is a lot like the character Jacob Black….Fun,strong,LOVES to joke around. really there would be no real success in the movie if he was recast…..love you taylor =D

I think that Taylor Launter is going to do a fantastic job as Jacob Black in New Moon. I think he will surprise any fans who are not quite sure if he is going to be able to pull it off. Anyone just needs to see Taylor in an interview to know that he has the confidence needed to add to his portrayal of an older, more mature Jacob.

They should really keep Taylor. I’m pretty sure that he knew New Moon would be a huge part for him when he got casted into Twilight….. I think he will do a great job and I will be disappointed if they switch the characters… it never feels the same.
