My heart goes out to both John Travolta and Kelly Preston, I hope they get the privacy they need to try to accept this tragedy in their life. There is no getting over this type of tragedy there is only acceptance and perciverance (sp). I have watched John since “Welcome back Kotter” and I watched Kelly on “Family Ties”, they have both grown and matured into very caring and loving parents and I am sure their daughter needs them now more than ever, she lost her big brother, her mentore and I am sure someone whom ment a great deal to her. John and Kelly are not the only ones mourning, remember he had a sister. I hope everyone can come to the acceptance of this loss.

I know words cannot take your hurt away. Your tragedy, has awaken society to acknowledge that there are many types of seizure disorder and are also in very young children. Our children.

So, please emphasize on the happy memories of your family with Jett.

I know what it is like to suffer with a child with seizures, my son now going on 19 years old, has been suffering from the age of 5 (as far as we know).

He’s been thru 2 brain surgery, one having a lobectomy done, and just this past October had a VNS pacemaker put in his chest to try and halt his numerous seizure’s and try to improve his life. Even if it’s just to reduce his amount of medications he takes.

We struggle with him, because being of age 19 he want’s to be normal like other kids. He wants to drive, go to normal schools, etc. Because of where his seizure disorder is sparking from all over the brain much as not help him so far.

So they didn’t remove the correct spot at his 2nd brain surgery-(found out later). But, another surgery like that was out of the question.

So please, except our most sincerest condolescences. Our family grieves’ with yours, as we also live with the unassurance of what can happen to our son.
