i recenty lost my husband. i understand their great loss however i’m sure lossing a child is even more painful.they are in my prayers. .

i just want to express my deepest sympathy to John and his family. I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. My heart goes out to you.

Last night my husband and I watched Grease on tv and in John’s eyes, in his younger years, there was his son Jett, spitting image! I told my husband Rodger, Jett will always be remembered..especially when you see John. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sure Jett knew how much he was loved by you as his parents. He was soo lucky to have you both and his little sister, also.. God be with you all and comfort you!

There are no words I can say to take away the unbearable pain you are all suffering at this moment, however, my only hope is that you are given the time you need to shed your tears and empty your heart of the overwhelming sea of anguish you must now be sailing upon. Dear sweet Travoltas….I have been lucky enough to follow both your careers and was overjoyed when you had your children. I feel as if you are my family as you have done to so many of us who watch and applaud your accomplishements…two of which were your children….
Jett was your gift from God and in having him, you have been blessed….now arent you glad that you did not miss having him….and he did not miss having you….that may have been his entire purpose…to be with you ever so briefly….to know LOVE!

wishing you strength during this hard time of letting go and the loss of your son. my wishes are with the being that he’ll find a great family and will meet you all at the other side of the bridge.

There is no way to explain why bad things happen. Some of us call it “God’s will”, which is a way, I guess, to express the feeling that despite all our best efforts, we are not ever in control. Jett had a short window of time in this world, but during that short time you’ve been able to provide that little boy and young man everything he could have needed. He died knowing he was loved no matter what, and that is a gift some of us aren’t blessed with. Right now the pain is great, and I pray for all of you that you have whatever you need in life that can sustain you as you allow time for yourselves to manage this pain. It will never go away, but in time it will become manageable. Who knows? Perhaps Ms. Hyland’s spirit is mingling with young Jett’s spirit, while she marvels, “my, you are so much like your father.” Perhaps together these two spirits can visit you during the quiet times, and somehow convey to you they are OK, so that you may all get some comfort from that. Finally I wish your family all the strength you’ll need to cope and help the little one understand, and I wish you all well. God bless you all.

As a mother who suffered a horrible loss with my son, my heart absolutely feels what you are both feeling now. Please take your time in trying to heal your hearts. Your beautiful little girl needs her parents now just as her parents need her. God be with you and your family during this troubling time.
