Jett Died of Seizure

0105travoltaautopsy.jpg

A funeral official has said that John Travolta's son Jett's death certificate lists "seizure" as the cause of death -- nothing about head injury related to a fall.

Glen Campbell, Assistant Director of the Bahamas funeral home handling arrangements, tells AP Jett's body showed no sign of head trauma. Police officials said earlier the 16-year-old may have hit his head on the bathtub.

Jett's body is now at the Grand Bahama airport en route to Florida for burial.

I’m so sorry, I had a lost of brother too. I know how it feels, even though I’m 11 years old. I only wish to say that once you loose a child, or any loved one, you must continue your life. Think about the positive things like, he’ll be in heaven were God is. Have you ever thought of that? Have you ever thought of he’ll always be with you? He will always, never forget that. I wish you luck. :) I hope you take my suggestion. God bless you.

Our family feels for the Travolta family. I hope the media lets them come together in peace without cameras all over them. This is not the time for the family to answer questions to anyone - this is their time as a family to remember the life of Jett. It is really none of our business - hopefully everyone will remember them in their prayers and let the family grieve in peace.

My prayers and thoughts are with you, John and Kelly.

I too lost a son in 2004. I am still grieving him and I know how heart broken you feel.

Call upon you guardian angel to help you through this. They do exist and they do help you through the worst of it.

Let yourself grieve your loss. Sometimes with such tradegy, we just close down and block all thoughts. Allow yourselves to think about him, feel his spirit around you, and just live each day; one day at a time.

It does get easier with each passing day, but those days go slow, but they will pass and life will get easier again.

I wish I could say that the grief goes away, but it does not. It eases some, but it will never go away.

I will pray for your family daily.

I’m so sorry for the Travolta’s loss. Their son was so young with a great bright future. There are no words to express the sorrow a father or mother feels when losing a child. my heart goes out to them. I’ll have them in my prayers.

I am very, very sorry for the Travola Family but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Leave them alone with all of this coverage of a terrible tradegy, Extra!!! Leave them alone. It is disgusting how long and how much you are airing about the family and the tradegy. Let them grieve without making it a circus.

The media, funeral home, paramedics, etc. should quit volunteering their quotes of what they think went wrong and let this grieving family have their space with their son prior to burying him. Come on people, get a life. Their precious son is dead….May GOD be with this family!

It is difficult to ease the pain of such a great loss but please find some comfort in knowing that so many feel your pain and their hearts are with you at this time. Cherish your memories.

The Travolta family is in my thoughts and prayers. The media should leave them alone in their grief. I can’t believe the EMT and funeral home employee spoke out about personal and private matters. As an EMT myself, I would not have commented.
Peace be with Jett and the Travoltas

I can’t help feel so sad for John Travolta working so hard to save his son. I also had to do cpr on my mother and you just cry so much as you are trying to help your loved one. My prayers go To the family. You all must go on for the sake of your other love ones that are left. Please try to be brave. God has him in His care now.
Love you and yours.

I so hope that this innocent child didnot die because he was not given medicine to treat this condition. I have a family member who had seizures and has not had any in decades thankfully to medication.
