I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Travolta family. As a mother I can only imagine what they are feeling.

I wish the reporters etc, would just let them morn/bury their beloved son in peace. Without all the question about their religions, the cause of death etc.

It saddens me, that reporters etc have make their living off something that should only be the business of the people involved.

This is such a void for a young family to expierence. It doesn’t matter what Jett had or didn’t have. He was a 16 year old boy who has left too early for his family here on earth but I guess there’s a bigger plan.I know it’s hard for the fans to not be so curious and I guess nosey because John Travolta is loved by so many including me and his wife Kelly Preston is so great too. I’m a big fan of hers to. It’s really important at this time as fans , and I guess family, friends and just the concerned public to back off and be patient to whatever comes out that is offered to us as viewers, from our local or world wide news.I confess I was on the internet trying to find info as well but then it dawned on me I’m a protective parent too and how much would I share especially when Jett has a sister who must be expierencing something awful right now and needs her parents to focus on her not the public audience. My condolences to this poor family who has to go through this horrible loss. I will keep your entire family in my prayers including Jett that he may be in a wonderful place offering all of you strength. One note I found it interesting that I share a Birthday with Jett amd that my favorite number is 22 and I’m 22 years older than him.There are no words that will bring peace to your hearts.

When one is on Depakote and suddenly removed from it, it can bring on seizures. Being a leader in this cult it would be highly unusual for this boy to have been on this drug. Was he really on Depakote? If so is there any proof? When was he taken off from it and why? Considering the involvment of the CoS one wonders about a charge of homicide or murder. What is the E-Meter and how does it work?

E-Meter is a shortened term for electropsychometer. It is a religious artifact used as a spiritual guide in auditing. It is for use only by a Scientology minister or a minister-in-training to help an individual locate and confront areas of spiritual upset.

By itself, the E-meter does nothing. It is an electronic instrument that measures mental state and change of state in individuals and assists the precision and speed of auditing. The E-Meter is not intended or effective for any diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease.

As stated earlier in this site, the mind is made up of mental image pictures which have mass and energy. When a person thinks a thought, looks at one of these pictures or re-experiences some painful memory, he is moving and changing the mental mass and energy of the mind.

What makes the E-Meter react is the impingement of these mental image pictures against the body. A person receiving auditing holds two plated cans which are hooked up to the electronic components of the meter. The meter sends a miniscule electrical current (approximately half a volt) through the body, about the same amount of current as in the average battery-powered wristwatch.

Changes in the mental masses of the mind affect the tiny flow of electrical energy generated by the E-Meter and this change is registered by movement of a small, sensitive needle on the face of the meter. A reaction which causes the needle to move indicates an area of upset or trauma and this guides the auditor in locating what should be addressed in auditing.

To Kelly and John, it is a horrible thing for a parent to bury their child. It is not supposed to happen like that, but sometimes God has a reason for this. I am an aunt to two nephews who died,both at age two( one in 1986 in a horrific fire and one this past July, to cancer) and it ripped my heart out and caused me to question my faith, but somehow over time I’ve come to bare it. Our family is still in shock over your family’s loss. As a mother, I could never imagine having to bury a child, it’s supposed to be the other way around. You both were so blessed with Jett in your lives and all the miracles that came with Jett. You are a strong and gifted family, Jett will continue with you in everyting that you do. My son wrote this yesterday when learning about Jett. “I will hold you in my dreams until I can hold you in my arms” it’s called-it’s beautiful. For a 21 year old it’s admirable to see such passion and understanding these days. We wish you some sort of peace, but know that you know it’s going to be a long road ahead for you, in time, God will show you the path. You are all in our prayers!
