'Housewife' NeNe Gets 'Real'

NeNe Leakes of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" isn't afraid of being herself -- and the fiery southern belle is opening up about rumors surrounding her money situation!

Rumors ran rampant that Leakes hid financial problems on the show -- and was forced to sell her expensive home because of it. "People are digging and prying into your personal life where they don't need to go and making up rumors about you -- lying about things that are not true," NeNe told MomLogic.com in response to the reports.

She adds, "The real deal is, most people don't have the opportunity to live in the type of homes that I've had the opportunity to live in. Whether I rent them, buy them it doesn't matter -- I live well and if you don't believe it, ring my doorbell and I'll show you. My house is not rented."

It’s not that people are hating, its that if you say you are keepin it real then keep it real…..everyone has the ability to get out there and make things happen..the inheritance belongs to us all the father said so. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.We are not to judge anyone but we can however past judgement.

Who on this earth gives their kid an $18,000 birthday bash? All the needy folks out there and she doesn’t even like the damn $2,000 cake!! She should take her kids to a hospital for sick children and make them help in some way..

Altho I love the show… I don’t really think these women with the exception of NeNe & Bethanny are any deeper than a puddle…If I had to give a score for the worst couple I’d say Alex & her clone hubby..meow!! what a couple of ladder climbers…anyone with good breeding can see thru them like cellophane.

This show is just as trashy as Real Housewives of OC and NY. Especially NeNe she loves to be he center of attention. It’s “African American” people acting badly. Please contribute something positive to the world, why the need for a reality show to show the rest of the world how spoiled, ill mannered and ignorant and arrogant you and your children are and how pretentious you and your husbands are. I could care less. The world has more important issues to worry about then to sit around and watch how the “rich, eliete” of Atl. Live, without your husband’s money you’d be nothing anyway. Swaggers. LOL

I saw this story and I had to comment. I have been living in atlanta for 2 years and 3 of those 5 women are pretending to be rich and NeNe is the biggest pretender of them all. A couple months ago, there was a special on the evening news about how many people the Leakes screwed over and owe money. People are forgetting that atlanta is cheap and the suburbs that some of the cast lives in is even cheaper. I make in the 40s and have a 4 bedroom house….enough said

“A fan”, you’re missing part of the story. Imagine you own a mansion, the tenants don’t pay you rent and you turn on the TV to find your tenants saying they don’t keep up with the joneses, they are the joneses. NeNe herself said that atlanta is small and everybody knows everybody, therefor you cannot live a financial lie. Why do a TV show about rich housewives if you know darn well that you are having financial trouble?

people need to stop trying to get all in this womens business. She does not have to justify her living to anyone.Its a show, If you dont like it change the channel. NeNe girl keep doing your thing. People hatin on you cause they aint you. And they all in your business cause they dont have any of there own.
