All a child needs is love; the PARENTS ARE GETTING DIVORCED, not the kids, so act like adults. But lets get real, it’s all about the money and who does or does not want to pay. Be independent women, make your own money and don’t depend on some guy for financial support! Let him see the kids, even when he does not pay child support. Don’t put the kids in the middle.

per your request this is my comment..My major is criminal justice and my minor is psychology..and i have to tell you that givin a child discipline is a good thing my mom beat my a## and my dad did the same I come from a long line of a## beaters and it is a good way to deal with a child..The bible say if you spare the rod you spoil the child..lol..

I had to have a blood transfusion as a baby. My Father was my donor. I have very masculine traits. Could this have anything to do with my Mother’s blood being drained from my body and replacing it with my Father’s?

The questions that I would like for you to answer are as follows:
1. How might we as Black People share with one another the lingering effects of the “peculiar institution of slavery” which causes absencetee fathers ans disfunctional parenting?
The idea is to help with self awareness and cultural issues that are subliminal. It’s Like President-Elect Obama stated regarding the residual effects of slavery, that we in America haven’t really dealt with. Young parents of today are so far removed from the reality of what has been done to our race that we are suffering from affects of our historical journey and do not even know it!
