Clintons Snubbed by Carter?

Did former President Jimmy Carter give Bill and Hillary Clinton the political brush-off at the inauguration ceremony?

That's true. While inside the capitol, Carter kissed former First Lady Barbara Bush -- then walked right by the Clinton clan.

I’m glad, The Clintons think they are better than anyone else. I can’t stand him. He really has no diplomacy.

That’s probably because he can’t see …

I think Carter is intimidated by Sec of State Clinton. Former Pres. Clinton Foundation have done a lot of good all over the world and both Clintons have outshine the diplomatic work of Carter. Too bad, Carter is such a bad sport..

It may not have been intentional. President Carter is up in age and may have only been focused on President Bush & wife, and continuing on to be seated for the inauguration. As we get older, we sometimes are unable to totally focus on everything around us.

I will briefly share an experience that I had (and I was in my thirties when this happened). Ten years earlier, I had attended UC with the then mayor of my city. We knew each other well. He would always ignore me when I would see him around the city. I thought, “He must think that he is too good to speak now that he is mayor.” One time I decided to speak to him. He spoke, but I said, “You don’t know who I am.” He said, “Yes I do.” He said my name, and continued by saying, “I recognize your voice.” I then realized that his vision had been failing(especially since he was wearing thick glasses), and he probably hadn’t really been able to see me the other times I had passed by him.

Just thought I would share that with you. We must try not to be so critical of others.

Take care!

Never thought I’d see the day that Pres Bush had more class than former Pres Carter. I’m sure his mama taught him better (and I KNOW they did at Annapolis!). Whatever the personal beef is between Clinton and Carter, they need to respect their former office and each other - at least on camera.
