Is Katrina Darrell, famous for sporting a teeny bikini in her "American Idol" audition, in for a big Sin City payday?
"Extra" sources hear that a couple of clubs in Las Vegas are aggressively pursuing and trying to contact "Bikini Girl" to host a party at one of the nightclubs -- and she could get up to $20K for the gig, giving the concept of cashing in on 15 minutes of fame a whole new pay scale.

i am happy that bikini girl was booted, first of all she can’t dress, that black fake leather feather dress was honestly the grossest thing i have ever seen, and two she needs to learn to be respectful of people expecially, to the one’s that can change your future as the judges could do. bikini girl don’t get me wrong ok, both of us know your beautiful but news flash ….ITS NOT EVERYTHNG !
Good move on promoting herself, she’ll be a guest on every talk show, mtv, entertainment orgaization, from now till her 15 mins of fame fades into the sunset..Smart like a fox..She’ll probably end up being Paris Hilton’s BFF and Brett Michael’s new love interest..Indeed one smart cookie that girl!

Its a shame to see this young girl walking around like a tramp especially with a nasty attitude.I hope American Idol does not start promoting trash. It may sound old-fashioned but what happened to the role model factor associated with Idol? My daughter is 9 years old and even she said “I thought this was a singing contest” There WERE better singers who should of got put through. Lynn

If you have ever looked into the pre-judging process for AI you would see that many qualified singers are simply told to go home. There are too many people to filter through.
She did the right thing in wearing the bikini to get noticed- it worked. Many AI hopefuls (who may be great singers) are sitting on their couches right now watching the show instead of participating in it because they figured they would get through on their talent.
Katrina is a good singer. I don’t need a pissed off Carla to tell me she isn’t. Carla’s rendition sounded almost identical to Katrina’s anyway. It wasn’t like, “wow Carla… you’re right. Katrina sounded so off key.”

Good for her! If I could go back and do the younger years again I would do it too! It’s a dog eat dog world. Yes, kissing Ryan was kind of gross, and showed a nasty side of her…but…whatever…
Bottom line it’s about singing talent and I don’t think she’ll make it through the second round, but she did get herself noticed and will benefit somehow from it!

Don’t listen to all the pitiful liberals. All they know is to hate and judge others. They should be thankful that non liberals are not as harsh as they are. I applaud her for having the guts to do that on AI. I bet most of angry idiots here have never done anything gutsy. Oh wait…does hiding behind the internet to condemn her qualify as gutsy?
Ugh!!!!!!!!I think that it is sad that there are people who try so hard to make it in the entertainment business and to become an actor and then there are people who take off some of there clothing and show a little skin on Ameican Idol and they make it big.

She can sing OK. She looked good in the suit. The thing that bothers me is that she used her body to get into the competition, where are her parents? The suit was a stunt and it worked for her. I think with her kissing Ryan and all she kind of put herself out there to be percieved as a great candidate for a gentlemans club worker.

I thought she was very attractive and also had a pretty good voice.With a body like that she dosen’t have to sing good.
