Barack: It's Chili in D.C.

Pres-elect Barack Obama grabbed a chili dog at Ben's Chili Bowl with Mayor Adrian Fenty (not pictured) in Washington, D.C. Obama ordered a Chili Half-Smoke and cheese fries at the longtime U Street hotspot.

As Obama and Fenty left, dozens of people cheered them on as they walked toward the motorcade.

hey sands, we are already in the brink of disaster and when does Obama take office? We are in the worst recession ever already. this is not the time to point fingers, we all as a country have to pull together to make it happen. the war is costing billions, people are losing their jobs everyday, companies are folding under. Obama has not taken office yet, if it is bad already, how much worse can it get?

While others bow and kneel to the “chosen one”.. I send my praises to
MARIE JON!…

What an excellent excellent commentary!! IF ONLY Extra would air such intelligence. But that might tarnish the “good name” of one Messiah.. heaven forbid ANY media adhere to bi-partisanship.

Marie Jon couldn’t have written it better about Obama and what we will be facing in the next four years! Hooray to Extra for not trying to bar free speech!

You’ve won back some of my respect!

The astute commentator Marie Jon sums up the problem of Barack Obama below (please read):

Many doubt that Obama will be able to deliver what he has promised. He is the same man who embraced Rev. Jeremiah Wright for twenty years, and palled around with unapologetic home-grown terrorist William Ayers and had dealings with Tony Rezko. Taxpayer money was given freely to friends in Chicago. We’re sure to have an unbelievably interesting full four years.

With Obama’s finagling, history will repeat itself under the leadership of another big tax-and-spend Democrat who believes that big government is the answer for everything.

The Democrat Party has missed the mark. They have pulled the wool over the eyes of many and refused to understand that FDR’s policies prolonged the Great Depression by an educated guess of seven years. Despite all the accolades given to Roosevelt, prosperity eventually returned to the United States after World War II.

America will not see positive changes. Between Obama’s poor domestic and frighteningly naive foreign policies, and the declining social mores, we will be pushed to the brink. It may take decades to recover from the damage caused by this extremely liberal administration.
