How can they change him????. Its just, we the fans have already have his face as “Jacob” in our minds, it makes no sense to change him when he & “Bella” had so much chemistry in Twilight. There crazy if they change him. & the whole ” he’s to young BS” He’s suppose to be younger then Bella anyway!!!!!!

I think they should keep Tayor Lautner bacause he already portrays Jacob, you can’t just change it. However, why don’t they cast Michael Copon as Sam Uley or one of the other werewolves?

Summit Entertainment and Chris Weitz need to be very careful in how they handle New Moon. They are dealing with a series that has worldwide popularity with a group of readers that will be very unforgiving if this movie isn’t done the way they feel it should. None of the major players that were in Twilight should be changed - that would be like saying “Oh, we don’t want Daniel Radcliff to play Harry Potter in the next 2 films”. Very unwise choice. Jacob Lautner is a very fine actor and can bring great realism to New Moon just as he did in Twilight. Just because Twilight broke Summit’s expectation in gross ticket sales, they need not be naive enough to think the others are guaranteed the same - mess with the fans, their views and what they want and you won’t even break even.

There’s no point in voting without steven strait as one of the choices.

sure micheal is bigger and older looking, but the main thing about jacob is that he goes through a change. he goes from looking like a boy to looking like a man. what good is it if you start out with a big guy? either way, their going to have to buff him up so why not just keep taylor?

Even co-star Ashley Greene is on Team Taylor. They should just spare us the agony of all this and announce Taylor as Jacob. That’s who the majority want and he already has a solid fanbase. Willing to wait a few more months into 2010 just to have Taylor in board (if his age is restricting working hours).
