does anyone else find it disturbing that a native american character may end up being played by someone who is NOT NATIVE AMERICAN? we have a virtual treasure trove of native actors and stephanie meiers thinks it’s okay for her to cross etnic lines as long as jacob black has dark hair and eyes??? so much for keeping it real!

Tayor ALL the way!! When I think Jacob Black I think of Taylor, Taylor IS Jacob!! Plus Michael just doesn’t look right for the part at all, he may look older because of his facial hair but that doesn’t make him right for the part. Taylor will always be Jacob!!

I think Taylor should play the part he is a great actor and he just needs to gain some pounds and they need to make him look older with some makeup!!!

Well, I gotta say I looked at the covenant and as much as I like Taylor Lautner, Steven Strait is way taller and really could just slid right into the part and nobody would notice. Forget Micheal Capone he’s too old looking.

I think that both taylor and michael get the role, as in taylor starts out and after hes completely turned into a werewolf it should be michael, but thats just what makes sense to me

i don’t understand why fangirls are so livid with lautner’s replacement, as if they already bonded with him. it’s so sad that you can’t even more open-minded on this course while it was clearly stated in stephanie meyers book that jacob’s transformation was ridiculous. also, there is no chemistry between kristen and lautner. anyway, there’s nothing you can do if summit decided on the replacement. as i recall, you also hated rob, why give michael a chance.. actually he’s hot. cheers ^o^
