Taylor as Jacob was very good, however his on screen time was overshadowed by Edward and all the Cullen Men. I think they can replace Jacob at this point and not harm the series. JUST DON’T REPLACE ANY OF THE WONDERFUL CULLEN MEN!!!!

I can say TAYLOR LAUTNER is good for the role of Jacob Black. But the only problem is he’s too baby face and short. So it should better be STEVEN STRAIT. He’s the best for the role.

I prefer STEVEN STRAIT to play the role of Jacob Black. He is way hotter and cuter than Michael Copon. Not to mention the acting skills.

I suggest they make Steven Strait the new jacob in New moon. Nothing against Taylor, but like what everybody else said, it’s just the way the story goes. If they want to make the movie a hit, they should make it believable. Jacob aged in new moon, both in looks and in height and taylor just can’t look that way. Steven Strait is perfect fro the part. Aside from his good looks, he sure damn can act!

Actually, if you notice in the books, after he changes, Jacob is said to be physically 25-27 years old. Jacob himself says in New Moon that he aged to 25 in a matter of weeks, and in BD Bella prepares his passport as a 27 year old-for which she says he can easily pass. It’s not a slam against Taylor. It’s simply the way the story goes.

Keep Taylor! Taylor IS Jacob! Taylor is a talented actor and deserves the part of Jacob! Taylor will grow and he is working out trying to buff up. Doesn’t anyone else think that a 26 year old is a little too old to be playing the part of a 16 year old? Stephenie Meyer also wanted some 25 year old guy to play Edward, but since he was 25, no longer looked like he could play the part of a 17 year old. So, really, Taylor is just the perfect one to play Jacob. Go Taylor!!!!!!

That isn’t the best pic of Michael Copon, but I checked out his imdb gallery and he’s not bad at all!! And as others have said, he could easily pass for an older Taylor-or an older Jacob!
His age is perfect. His height is much closer. He’s got the muscle. He’d already have the appropriate voice range…
Sure they could use CGI and camera tricks and voice manipulation to age Taylor, but why go to all that trouble? Really there was little Jacob in Twilight to begin with, and the main of Jacob’s story will start in New Moon. Nothing against Taylor, but it had bothered me to think of him continuing in the role before this controversy started. It just makes sense to actually have an actor that fits the character going forward. I wouldn’t mind Steven Strait either. Warren Peace was great!

If they replace Taylor on new moon then i “WILL NOT” see any of the movies if Taylor isn’t in them!!!!!!!
Also i don’t see what’s the point in replacing the actors, everybody who’s reading the books they all know what the characters look like from the movie & if they change them (actors/actresses) it’ll get them all comfused on whos who!
Also one more thing is it true that they are replacing ALICE & JASPER into different people? cuz that’s what my cuzin said 2 me.

STEVEN STRAIT is the perfect choice to play Jacob Black. He’s taller than Robert, he looks the part, he’s in perfect physical shape, he’s a talented actor, and he’s so damn sexy!!!

STEVEN STRAIT should be added on the poll list. He’s the perfect Jacob. He’s everything how Jacob should be. Michael is not attractive enough, looks too old, and he can’t act. Taylor is too small and looks too young.

i think to keep with the book, Michael would be the better Jacob. Plus, they look so similar that Michael just looks like an aged Taylor.

hes sooooo hot and teens mostly watch him so git rid of him alot of girls will lose intrest for an older guy but i cant say that the age matters because i am in love with edward/robert!
