Tom Cruise's Top 10

"Valkyrie" star Tom Cruise dined with wife Katie and daughter Suri at PJ Clarke's in Manhattan last night. The actor spent some quality time with the family after debuting the "Top Ten Craziest Things People Say about Tom Cruise on the Internet" on "The Late Show with David Letterman."

Cruise joked around with the late night funnyman before reading this list from the hot seat:

10. I sleep upside-down suspended in a special bat-like harness.

9. During the filming of "Days of Thunder," on a dare I ate a tire.

8. I still wear those underpants from "Risky Business."

7. My real name is Tom Blagojevich.

6. I once Heimliched a koala.

5. Once a month, I take the Universal Studios tour naked.

4. I believe all emotional and physiological disorders can be cured with Vick's Vaporub.

3. I'm a power-mad egomaniac who's completely insulated from reality. Oh wait, no, that's Letterman.

2. After jumping on her couch, Oprah hammer-locked me till I coughed blood.

1. I keep a cell phone in my pants so I can tell friends, "Call my a**."

“Having to eat humble pie for no good reason…” I have to wonder if people really pay attention to the ‘evils’ that these people do. People keep saying he is a wonderful person……Why? I can recall no great deed he has preformed. And I can not help but notice, that it is only women that say this.

His new movie will fail because America, like me, will not support people whose opinion undermines and hurts thousands. If he truly was a ‘wonderful’ person, he would retract those statements…….. Because the last time I checked, he didn’t have a medical degree.

I think the Tom Cruise fame has gone to his head. To the extent that he is unable to think of the people he might hurt before giving his negative feelings about something a public voice, he should be seen and not heard. He needs to grow up and accept responsibility for the fame the public has bestowed upon him and act accordingly. I think we are seeing a lot of him now on talk shows because his friends are trying to help him out of the mess he has gotten himself into as far as popularity. I’m sure he’s already made enough money though so he can retire.

There is nothing hilarious or even remotely funny about anything connected to a man who hides behind his supposed religion or his supposed marriages. He is leagues behind his contemporaries in making a difference in the world….a small man indeed.

Tom is an incredible actor and wonderful human being.
Always thought so, always will!
He received so much flack for just being, well…human! He’s emotional and opinionated, show me an actor who isn’t!!
I feel he is having to eat humble pie for no good reason-the media givith the media taketh and the media gives once again! I just like watching him on the big screen, bottom line. Excited to see his new movie!

I think most of the “negativity” surrounding Mr Cruise has to do with #4 on the list above. It is hard to view the “positive” points in a person’s life when they are saying things that hurt 10,000’s of people.

No one I know cares about the couch. I personally saw nothing wrong with that. By shifting the attention of the public to the coach, it distracts them from the real problems.

And I ain’t talkin’ bout Suri either..

Love Tom Cruise…It’s a shame that he received such a negative feedback because he jumped on Oprah’s couch…why don’t you talk about his success…he is an awesome guy…

I don’t expect people in the public eye to have the same opinion as me. But, since they are in public eye, they have a responsibility to think…. before they talk. And since Mr Cruise refuses to do just that, I must exercise my responsibility. And that is to insure that not one dollar of my entertainment money goes to him or his endeavors.
