Tom Cruise to Spencer Pratt: Have the Big Wedding

Mega-star Tom Cruise chatted with hosts of MTV Canada's "The Hills After Show" -- and doled out some advice to newlywed Spencer Pratt!

The hosts of the show detailed how Pratt went against Heidi's hopes for a big wedding by "eloping" in Mexico -- and asked the "Valkyrie" star to share his opinion of Spencer's decision.

"If the girl wants the wedding... you've got to give the wedding," Cruise explained. "The girl wants a wedding, she's going to remember it forever, and you've got to make it a special occasion."

Tom continued, "Spencer, dude, you'll realize this later."

Cruise has had three weddings so far, so I guess he qualifies as an expert - at least in his own pea brain.

hey, the next piece of advice Tom can give these two is how to get a speedy divorce? We all know that’s coming next, and we all know Tom has experience in that department as well. Tom will be experiencing that again one day, I hope he’s planning accordingly.
