Little Ashes was made first,but it is not the only other work Robert Pattinson has done.I have seen him in three other projects and i think that he portrayed the characters well.

Wow. Rob will get a lot of attention with Ashes—but will it be because he’s a fantastic actor, or because Edward fans cannot believe that Edward would be unfaithful to Bella? Makes me wonder how Rob feels about all this hype from the fans. Wouldn’t mind hearing his take on it. And no, I don’t want to have his baby … or to sign my underwear,,, or even marry my daughter. I just think he sounds like an interesting guy. He’d be fun to hang out with.

Personally, I think this movie looks amazing. I enjoy Dali’s art also. Robert looks like he will play the part well, no Idon’t mean the ‘gay’ part. It shouldn’t matter if hat’s the person he is playing, it’s acting people, and even if he was gay it wouldn’t matter. He’s an amazing actor AND musician.

i agree with Em and Delilah - Rob is an exceptional actor - from playing a small role in harry potter, he’s quickly moved to do a large number of varied roles and will probably end up starring in more blockbuster movies than Daniel Radcliffe before the last of the Harry Potters is released and this is why! Showing what he is capable of this early on is a very smart move in that it almost secures him a place in the hall of fame (not literally but he will be remembered that way) whereas the HP actors rarely deviate from their current ongoing project, leaving them with little options for roles in the future… Rob should be applauded

I think this is good thing too , he plays very diverse role. At least he’s not one of the goody disney actors who only limit themselves to that… I mean look at Anne Hathaway. My objection has nothing to do with the fact that Robert seems to be playing a gay role, it’s because the movie doesn’t look good at all. It’s not up to Robert Pattinson’s standards an an actor.

Some people believe they have the right to degrade and belittle others on personal perceptions. Because a person wishes to portray a character . Does not mean the person is a copy of the characters they portray . Every person is an actor , you pretend to be happy when you receive a gift that you dislike. Or you pretend you are happy when you see a person you detest. An actor is just pretending.
Everyone should remember , We all are just actors , and he is playing a part. A portrayal of a characture that he has no obvious connection with.

That’s his JOB as an ACTOR. If you loved him in one roll, be open minded enough to see him in many others! I think he did a great job and I’m very excited to see this film as well as others.

It doesn’t matter what role he plays he is still totally HOT and a great actor. It looks like an awesome movie. I can’t wait until it comes out.
