Rihanna Rocking D.C. for Obama's Inauguration

1221rihanna.jpg

Grammy winner Rihanna is scheduled to perform in the nation's capital during the inauguration of Barack Obama -- and help feed millions of people in need while doing it!

The Good Girl Gone Bad will hit the stage for the Recording Industry Association of America's Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball, which benefits Feeding America -- the largest hunger relief organization in America.

"Rihanna's always willing to help out -- she's a good girl," a source reveals to People magazine. Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America, adds, "We could not be happier that Rihanna will be performing at the Inauguration charity ball to benefit Feeding America."

She adds, "Rihanna's involvement will help raise awareness about the prevalence of hunger in America and help bring more aid to the 36 million Americans who do not always know where they will find their next meal."

NEXT: Fergie and Josh Set a Date!

Rihanna is extremely talented. I think it’s great that she will be performing at the greatest inauguration in the history of the United States of America. She ROCKS!!!

Obama RULES!!!

Were there any country and western singers invited? They are very patriotic.

How about NEITHER Rihanna nor Beyonce. Neither one are classy enough for anything associated with the Inauguration. We dont need gyration at the Inauguration! And Rihanna can’t sing.
But if it’s something else, for charity, and Rihanna can bring attention… hey.

I actually love and adore Rhianna… (although whomever dresses her needs a swift kick in the azz, trying to turn a sweet girl into a sleeze).

Anyway,.. I love and adore Rhianna, but I still do not like Obama.. Suppose I’m still gonna be called a “racist” for that opinion?? After all, by all accounts- if you don’t like Mr. Messiah, you’re dubbed a racist right?
It’s been my experience at least.. I chalk that up as a sad shallow dismissal of my opinion.

I like RI-Ri I think she is so cute , and she singing at the charity ball for the Inauguration . Please read the entire article before going off. Ya’ll won’t be there so why are ya’ll complaining about who you want to perform or not . She is clearly with an organization that feeds homeless people. The organization who puts the entertainment list together , clearly was like well since she’s already helping out lets get her to perform. My only question is are they really going to let them perform there songs or are they doing duets with other artist . I would like to see Beyonce perform at the actual inauguration . I love seeing her do performances like this at events because she gives a Performace and it memoriable .

Ok, I would like to point out that Rihanna is not an American citizen and on top of that she sound like a someone choking a chicken. Please don’t torture the people. She’s pretty, but she’s talentless. She can’t hold a note. Get someone who can actually sing like Jennifer Hudson

She is the IT girl now but has no real talent. All of the awards shows that she has done have been so boring unless there is a feature artist with her. She can’t carry a tune with out singing over her cd. They should have picked someone else who will stand the test of time to headline. Aretha to headline maybe?
