Palin Daughter Pops

1230palin.jpg

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is officially a grandmother. Her daughter Bristol, 18 (pictured with baby brother Trig) and former high school hockey player Levi Johnston, also 18, welcomed son Tripp on Saturday.

Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston was born at 5:30 AM, weighing 7 lb., 7 oz. "We think it's wonderful," Colleen Jones, Bristol's great-aunt told People magazine. "The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited."

Levi's mother, Sherry Johnston, was recently arrested on multiple felony counts of involving the drug Oxycontin. Bristol is currently living in Wasilla, and working on her GED. Levi is now an apprentice electrician.

Yesterday, a spokesperson for Governor Palin said, "This office will not be issuing any statements on [Bristol's baby]. We're here to talk about state government and that matter falls outside of that."

What do you think of Bristol's baby's name? Click here to vote!

So would someone let me know how the title is offensive? I have heard the comment “when are you due to pop” many times. Now they are saying she did.

I don’t get it.

It’s extraTV, not CNN, ABC, NBC, or any other “real” news organization. It’s gossip. It’s never been anything more.

I don’t understand what is so offensive about the title. I have heard, many times, “So when are you due to pop”. So would someone give me a clue?

Sarah Palin frightens the political left [which of course includes the media] very badly. Her candidacy really electrified the conservative base of the Republican party, That’s why the media continues to attack her in any way they can, just as they did during the campaign. That’s why the report of the boyfriend’s mother being arrested is included in this article.

Shame on most of you. Whose business is it besides their own. I’m sick of hearing all the trash that comes from the hollywood stars, but no one ever condemns them for their raunchy lives. Leave people alone. Live and let live, they could have aborted the baby which is what many do. Give them credit for doing “the right thing.”

Let me get this straight. Track, then Trig, now Tripp? What, are they naming these kids according to some arcane redneck code or something?

Where the heck do these people come from? Add Alaska to the list of states I never want to visit.

I agree with Tim that the headline for this article was in very poor taste. What are you so terrified of that you have to continue to belittle this family.

It may well be true that a GED is needed for 99 percent of jobs. The ignorant head line reveals the other one percent of jobs where a GED is apparently not required: ExtraTV Staff Members!

The title of this ‘article’ is absolutely disgusting. I did not read the article, in part because I don’t want to support such garbage by even reading it. I did however want to express how sad such a title makes me. I don’t care for your show, or the obvious disrespect for women displayed in most of the news ‘reports’ I have caught. It is a reflection of our society, sadly. Oh, and I am not a conservative, just someone who doesn’t like the crass and disturbing title.

I am bothered by the unkind, distasteful discription your headline uses to announces the birth of “anyone’s” baby. I am not a Palin supporter, but I think the way this family has been portrayed and abused is just plain wrong. Let us “let it go”.

Shame on you for this title! No respect for your mom and all other women who gave birth!

this is absolutely horrible … people need to wake up it is almost 2009. yes she had a baby at 18 … my great grandmother had a baby at 18 but it was acceptable because she was married …you all are horrible for knocking her … what… do you not believe in pro-life? atleast she took responsibility for her actions and atleat the boy stepped up to be a father. 18 or not they are doing the right thing and trying to make a life for themselves. To the idiot who posted about “dan and rosanne connor” get a life … what are you jealous or something?? there is nothing wrong with this … it is a beautiful thing. I wish them nothing but the best and i hope this little family continues to blossom and stay together… it’s a call for congrats … now don’t be haters …

“We’re here to talk about state government”……….translation: We don’t want any of her silly fans to know she pals around with trashy drug dealers.

What a tacky title for your article. Is there no respect for the gift of life for a mother and family! Yes, your title caught my attention but respect for your ability as a news reporter???

Hmmm…the mother-in-law busted for Prescription dealing. How “ghetto” is that?!

By the way, I am a Republican, but I am really troubled by how weak and weird the family dynamics seem to be with the Palins.

If my daughter were sexing it up with a teen-age drop-out, and hanging out with a drug-dealing set, I would make those problems an emergency focus.

But, I don’t think too much of Sarah, to begin with. Why have a baby when you are past forty? Downs Syndrome is highly predictable at that age. Seriously, you have better odds with drunk driving.

So Sarah, why focus on personal goals when your family is getting weird? Momma and poppa Palin need to help their daughter, instead of the State/country.

Tripp Easton? Oh well. (Easton is a hockey supplier?!! Kind of like naming your kid “Wilson”?!)

But sincerely, good luck to Bristol. GED is a tougher than necessary way to start life, and she seems to be carrying a lot of extra baggage on some young shoulders. I hope she makes a good mom, anyway.

AND PS: “Pop” is an apt headline: that’s how trailer people talk!

What a family.
Mommy - may be getting GED
DAD - Apprentice
Grand Mom (Sherry Johnston) - In Jail
Grand Mom (Plain) - Does not even know Africa is a country or continent.

What the hell teenage parent know about raising a kid. Give the kid for adoption to a deserving family.

Ohhhh excuse me! Here’s what it should have said:

” On the social scene, the daughter of one of the most famous families in Alaska, was indisposed this weekend for undisclosed reasons.”

What a bunch of “family values” phonies conservatives are!

Hey! Just because you were “Pop-ed” out of your mother doesn’t mean that everybody has the same birth experience!
You probably havent seen her since, crude abandoned child!
