O's BFF on the Weight Battle

1210oprah.jpg

Oprah Winfrey's longtime best friend Gayle King went on "Good Morning America" today to set the record straight about Winfrey's struggle to shed pounds.

"When you are 40 pounds overweight, you are not a healthy person," Gayle revealed on the talk show. King maintained that Oprah is back on track to her goal weight -- and optimal health. "Oprah's going to do something about it," said King, "she is already in the process of doing something about it."

Gayle King is a leach on the Oprah payroll. She’s a nobody, and is only recognized through Oprah. Some other Oprah puppets include: Rachael Ray, Dr. Phil McGraw, and more recently Barack Oblahma. Oprah is a fat slob, inside and out.

I know for a FACT that someone who used to weigh 289 did NOT fit into a size 18. NO WAY NO HOW. Maybe a 28. It is physically impossible.

And if you want to give you skin to a burn center you can simply call your local trama center and they will help you. It wont be free but at least you wont have any excess skin and did a good thing.

I noticed she was starting to gain weight, but I didn’t know how much. I read here (www.projectweightloss.com) about her solution to this weight problem and, wow, she’s so brave.

I posted a comment a few minutes ago about losing 140 lbs. While I feel great and look good in clothes, I have all the extra skin hanging from losing the weight. I would not wear a bathing suit in public. I wish I could get the skin cut off and donate it to a burn center. My skin is in good condition, just too much of it.

I am 52 years old, soon to be 53. I have had my battle of the buldge for most of my adult life. My highest weight was 289 lbs. I was ready to try the “weight loss surgery”. when I checked into it, they said I had to lose 20 lbs and keep it off for 3 months before I could qualify. My reply to that was, if I could do that, I would not be asking for the surgery. Well I went home depressed, thought about it for a while, then I started to make small changes in my diet, and how I ate. I lost 140 lbs during the year 2007. I now weigh 125 lbs. No diet, no major excersise. I did not give up my chocolate either. I went from a size 18 womens, to a size 4 jeans. I never thought I could do it. I still can’t believe I did it, “without the surgery” I am nervous about gaining it back. I don’t think I could live with myself if I even gained 20 lbs back. When I look at my “fat” pictures, It makes me sick. I pray every day, that I don’t put it back on.

Oprah should just give up on the on again and off again dieting. That is more dangerous than being a few pounds overweight. Unless she wants to give up all the foods she loves forever to keep thin, she should just realize she is not meant to be thin. I have been there and done that too.

If you’re fighting the battle of the bulge, you are one of us. As we age, pardon the word, we tend to have our bodies resettle and require less calories. We have learned, in our previous years, that food is a reward. Our mothers told us that if we finished our milk, as an example, we will get a candy and dessert only came if we finished all of our food. Once you learn a reward, it’s hard to change.

Maybe the obesity epidemic is nature’s way of preparing us for a famine.
