i think u should keep taylor as jacob in new moon

I think that it’s a horrible idea to get a new Jacob. Taylor Lautner is the perfect Jacob Black.

They should keep Taylor to play the role as Jacob. It’s stupid to change his character now when the upcoming movies/books envolve him so much. Kristen as Bella’s character is perfectly fine. Even though Rob doesn’t quite fit the discription of Edward, he pulls it off big time. He’s perfect for Edward. They should keep at the actors for the Cullen’s. And they better keep Taylor as Jacob. It’s better that way.

Look, if they are going to replace anyone, they need to consider Melissa Rosenberg, who adapted Twilight for the big screen (she was responsible for the screenplay). I was disappointed in several ways with the film, however, mostly, with Roseberg’s treatment of the characters in relation to the work created by Stephenie Meyer. I feel that previous movies, such as those in The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter franchises, have set a standard for screenwriters to live up to. I personally feel that Rosenberg failed. Although, considering her previous work on television shows such as “The O.C.”, I’m not surprised. It isn’t like we are dealing with a seasoned writer in any respect. I also find it hard to believe that Meyer was completely satisfied with Rosenberg’s work. Had this been something I had poured my heart and soul into, I would have stood my ground a bit more.

OMG! Why would they replace Jacob when they fans have already captured what Jacob is supposed to look like? And if they knew, which is most likely, that there was goin to be a sequel, then why did they cast Taylor as Jacob? The movie was great. A little choppy, but great. Edward is HOT! Ro Pattz all the way! If i had to cast, I would stick wit taylor or go wit steven strait.

I love Taylor as Jacob, he fits the character perfectly! It would be a huge mistake to replace him now—I know that me and my friends wouldnt go to see New Moon with Ben Barnes or Michael Capon as Jacob. They dont fit the character at ALL. Keep Taylor!

I think that Kristen did a great job, they dont need to replace her at all. Robert did awesome too, very good looking too!

And its really sh*ty and disrespectful for them to even consider repalcing Taylor after all his hard work and devotion on the film and promoting it.

I’m really interested to hear what Kristen Stewart has to say about this.
I hope her and the some of the rest of the original cast will say something.

Taylor has to stay on as Jacob. He is perfect, I think that with the special effects that are possible in the movies today should allow them to make him look older if that is what needs to be done. I have seen Twilight 8 times and I would like to see New Moon that many or more but I dont think I can do that if Taylor is not in it.

Michael is not fit to play Jacob.
The dude is Filipino and German for goodness sakes! So it would be going against what they keep saying about how they need Native American actors.
Taylor is atleast partial Native American.
And its not that difficult to make him look “older”(I hear make up artist can do wonders)or to have him bulk up a bit(he already has a great physic.. he is a 17 year old boy, meaning.. the kid can put away the food.. and to make him seem taller.. dig ditches and build ramps… save you lots of time and money…
All this can be done and if they wanted to save themselves the stress of thinking it wont be intime.. they would REALLY release the movie in a “timely fashion”.
But if there is no way that Taylor is going to be Jake.. then I’d choose Steven Strait.
And I dont really care who plays Aro.

No, Michael Copon doesn’t even look native american! Taylor could pull it off if he bulks up and if they do what they did in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button movie. I really dislike it when they change actors in the movies, so please don’t do this!

NO WAY!!! Michael Copon doesn’t even look Native American. He can’t act either i’ve seen him in One Tree Hill and his performance made me cringe through the clip… Taylor won me over in Twilight and it took me a long time to get used to him as Jacob! Also i don’t understand why people are insisting that Aro has to be old! In New Moon it said that Aro is just papery skinned and even paler than Edward. There is no mention on how old he looks!!! Ben as Aro would be awesome! I’ve seen some pictures of him in Dorian Gray and i’m impressed. However, if they choose Michael Copon as Jacob i will not watch the movie, why should i pay money to go watch someone that i know could ruin the whole movie! i would rather watch Sherlock Holmes…
