No!!! I want Taylor Lautner to continue to play Jacob! I dont care that hes too young…Im sure they can figure out a way to make it work. He IS Jacob…Michael Copon ISNT!!!

OK I am all for Taylor to stay but my problem is he is to short. In the book it talks about how tall and huge he gets. I love Taylor and he is perfect for the role but I am worried about his size. My daughter will be bummed because she is all about Team Jacob!! If anyone should replace him it should be Steven Strait. They resemble each other and he is tall. You can always ad size but height is harder!

Keep Taylor up until he makes the first change… duh. Then bring in Steven Strait, he not only looks similar to Taylor but has the raw kind of “husky voice” that Stephanie talks about for the older/darker/Sam’s Jacob. Strait I think can also pull off the angry Jacob WAY better than that Michael Copon kid… I mean he legitimately cannot act.

I totally agree with everyone else! Taylor has to stay! True, he is kind of young looking, but that just makes it even better! i mean, with all they can do with computers and special effects?? (anyone remember 300 and their 12-packs?!?!) If they do decide to change him, Steven Strait HAS to be the one…anyone else and they would ruin the movie…

They should not replace Taylor, he did a great job with the little that he was given and I think he can grow in maturity with a little movie magic. Ben Barnes as Aro makes me wonder who is doing the casting or rumor mongering. All the rumored actors are connected to certain sources.

Theres already a great cast dont change it if you do you’ll probaly lose some fans if you were gonna change jacob you should of never used him in the first place..twilights great dont add the other new guy of the prince of caspian if you can add him make michael a bad vampire instead..

If they are going to replace Taylor, they should replace him with Steven Strait. Not only is he gorgeous, but he was also one of the suggested look alikes for Jabob in New Moon before the movie was even optioned! Look at pictures of him in Sky High. Otherwise, keep Taylor in the movie. I also hate it when movies change actors in the middle of a series.

OMG! They should keep all the actors. I hate when they changes actors leave them the same. I love Kristen as Bella she plays her perfect and Rob as Edward love him. Rob and Kristen have perfect the perfect connection in the film. AWESOME! Can’t wait till New Moon arrives, looking so forward.

No wayy! its incredibly gay when they replace actors in the middle of a series. And fans apparently love lautner so, dont let them do it!

They must keep Taylor as Jacob Black!! He has that great Jacob smile and he did a wonderful job in Twilight. I will be really up-set if they change him. It messes up the story. Keep the cast the same - PLEASE!!

I think if they want the movie to be a sucess they should keep the original cast. Anytime a sequel starts changing the main cast they always bomb at the movies. Stick to what got this ball rolling and focus on a better screenplay for the sequel

I think all the actors are perfect for their part…kristen aint supposed to show no emotions…thats the point of her playing her part…she’s perfect!!!

Hi, I’m a huge fan of the books and I can see where they are coming from in respect to replacing The actor currently playing Jacob. Granted, he did an amazing job and should continue playing the role, but he might seem out of place if they are trying to stay true to the books.

Jacob in the books is supposed to be close to, if not over, six foot, Built like a brick house, and seem, well, just older. Taylor could play him for the beginning of the movie where Jacob is still “young”, but after , unless there is some sort of movie magic he’ll seem off to me.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Taylor as Jacob, he was perfect and perhaps he could continue to play Jacob if it’s done right. I do, however, think they could have picked a better replacement. He doesn’t look Native American to me.

I hope they don’t replace anyone in the movie! This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.I hope everyone gets picked to win some awards…not just the guy movies that are always picked.Can’t wait to see the next one!!!!
