u have to be the stupidest people in the whole world to replace taylor. he is the best actor for the role.tall, cute, and talented. if he`s replaced i am going to write a petitionm to get him his part back.

Ben is WAY to young to play Aro. The Italian vampires are supposed to be older than Carlise. I don’t think it’s a smart choice.

in order to understand you have to read the whole series.(if u havent; you shouldnt be here)taylor is a great jacob and many fans have agreed that wen it comes to jacob, taylor fits the image perfectly. hes HOTT, charming and u could totally see him as your best friend.please do us twilight fans a fave and keep the characters as is. messing up the series in the second movie is screwed up.as for aro, i think it would be kind of wierd to make the vulturis hotties.although the vampires in this book are supposed to be amazingly beautiful so i guess u could cast him as aro.(just dont screw the movie up-please)o n for the director-if u ever read these kinds of comments. read the whole series and stay tru to the feelings and stories of the characters. dont mess up like the first movie. somethings were added n i ddnt like that very much.

Taylor will not be tall enough to be Jacob, he grows to his adult height of
6’5” .. otherwise they wouldn’t have even thought to replace him.

I am not a fan of replacing cast members
especially on a great cast that is working on Twilight. Robert Pattinson &
Kristen signed on for a trilogy so what happens with Breaking Dawn…

why does some of u always say that Aro is old?? there was never a description in any of the books that says he is old, wrinkly, frail or whatever. ur perceptions may only be because of the way they speak (aside from their ages).

look. if your gunna change who plays a character you should do that before you film! you dont wait until ur done the firstmovie to change one of the main characters! all it does is ruin the series!!! its just like blade~ you dont take wesley snipes out and replace him! well taylor is no different! he already has a following. and he did a good job!! you created it ! now keep it!!!! dont ruin the story and movie!! stephanie did such an awesome job on the story and they picked the perfect people for the roles! just let us fans have our characters!!! jeesh!!!

Okay - Michael Copon. Totally arrogant and his public belittling of Taylor Lautner in the press is NOT to be tolerated. If they cast him, I’ll be furious! I’m not a member of Team jacob at all - I’m Team Edward all the way - but Taylor did a great job as Jacob, and in the first installment, he’s SUPPOSED to be young and “baby-faced.” If you’ve noticed early promo work for Twilight, you’ll see a cast shot with Tayler with his hair tied back, bulked up and intense looking - seeming more than ready to take on the bigger, bulkier Jacob. Leave him be. And I hope Chris Weitz remembers, this is the story of Bella and EDWARD, not Bella and Jacob. Jacob is a best friend - nothing more. Weitz better not stray from that truth of the series!!! About Ben Barnes as Aro…interesting possibility, but I thought Aro was older?? He’d be very good though! I like the idea of the Amanda Seyfried, Sophia from Mama Mia, as Jane. She’s got the ingenue thing down pat, and the sweet, high voice, and she could definitely do menacing and evil….

I agree about using Taylor for the first part of Jacob but then switching to Steven Strait. Michael …. might be ok… but again for the second part of Jacob (all you book readers should know what I mean). Taylor would make an awesome Seth though. Shame this wasnt sorted before the first movie was done. So for our Jacob Black… I would pick Steven Straight over Michael Copon

Although I love Taylor Lautner and he is so cute, I don’t really care if Michael Copon replaces him because to me they look quite similar and I also love him(: He was in a lot of my favorite shows!

who ever takes off taylor lautner from the cast is totally crazy… he is sooo perfect for new moon, plus you can’t just change the person. If Taylor’s not in New Moon, then you’ve just lost one more view because i won’t watch it without him.
