Kevin Federline is finally ready to talk about his time as Mr. Britney Spears. The wannabe rapper reveals his story to People magazine, explaining his difficult split from the pop star, the joys of fatherhood -- and Britney's breakdown.

KFed says he wanted to work on their troubled marriage. "I was trying to work stuff out with her, and she didn't even talk to me or anything and went behind my back and filed for divorce. I was completely blindsided." In the MTV documentary "Britney: For the Record," Spears claims Federline left her.

Federline also opens up about the January night Britney locked herself and Jayden in her bathroom and was later taken to the hospital in an ambulance. KFed says that was one of his lowest lows. "You want to talk about one of my lowest points of depression, that was probably one of them. I was very, very worried for her 'cause I care about her. That's the mother of my children."

Britney and Kevin officially divorced in Nov. 2006, but he remains one of her biggest fans. "I'm definitely rooting for her. There's nothing more that I want than for her than to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do."

What’s with all the hate? Regardless of what his motivation was during their courtship, he stepped up and is being a good dad while in the middle of a difficult situation. And if he wasn’t a good dad she would have never given him custody. She has more than enough money to have had a multitude of options. And I’m sure her father would have not allowed him to have custody if he felt that way either.

No matter what people think is going on or was going on or what his motivations are or were, the simple fact is that the majority thought he would be a crappy dad, and he’s proven that he is not.

Maybe Kevin did see her as a meal ticket, but so what. At least HE is being a good parent. Maybe if he would sleaze it up more like Britney does, he would have more of his own cash.

And to Majority Rules, why should Britney have her kids on a permanent basis?? Oh she has a new album…so what. How long has she been trying to clean up her act?? It looks like she will be up to more of her same sleazy ways. PUKE!

KEVIN SHOULD KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT. WHEN HE LOOKED ACROSS THE ROOM AND SAW BRIT, HE SAW HIS MEAL TICKET. HE WAS NOT DOING A GOOD JOB TAKING CARE OF HIS KIDS WITH SHAR MONEY WISE, SO HE SAW HIS ANSWER TO BE A KEPT MAN AND GET ENOUGH MONEY FROM BRIT TO PAY FOR HIS FIRST KIDS TOO. IF HE REALLY CARED ABOUT BRIT HE WOULD NOT HAVE PUT HER THRU WHAT HE DID. SHE WAS SUFFERING A BAD CASE OF POST PARTUM DEPRESSION AND HE USE IT AGAINST HER. WHAT GOES AROUND ,COMES AROUND. WHEN THOSE BOYS ARE OLDER, THEY WILL FIGURE OUT THAT HE USED THEM FOR A MEAL TICKET. AND IF HE WANTS TO PROVE DIFFERENT, GIVE THE BOYS BACK TO BRITNEY AND STOP TAKING HER MONEY. Of course he has to say “I’m definitely rooting for her. There’s nothing more that I want than for her than to be in the best health and doing what she loves to do.”…Britney has been his free ticket all these time..He is living in the lap of luxury…He has acquired all the material stuff he has now ‘coz he can never afford these by just being a back-up dancer…It is kinda obvious that he immediately changed his lifestyle when he married Britney…so don’t tell me he was not living his dream…He kinda trick his way into Britney’s life…for all we know he has planned this all this time while he was still her back-up dancer…
