I finally found a holistic doctor who was a DO who took me off of Premarin and put me on natural Estrogen, DHEA and Progestone. He also has taken over my thryoid care. Now I take Armour Thyroid, which is a life saver for me. Most family doctors don’t seem to know much about all this and can cause more harm but treating you with the wrong thing.

I am a confused consumer but I must say that this topic was well explained. I need more information, where can I go to know more about hormones? And how would I know if it’s boidentical hormones?

Dear Dr. Erika:

After I saw your piece I called my OB GYn and asked her about Bioidentical Hormones and she said they are God’s gift to humanity but she thinks a lot of women don’t know Bioidenticals. We should spread the word Extra!!

My mom was saved by Bioidentical hormones. Thank you for her doctor. This segment was really good. I will forward this to all my friends. Very informative. Does Dr. Erika see patients?

Mary,

you can get testosterone from any physician who practices bioidentical hormones. Ask your nearest compounding pharmacist and they can refer you to a doctor.

Typical network TV! A woman asks about unnecessary hormones for her face and the Dr. answers her on camera. The MAN asks about cancer and you are suppose to go to the web-site…God forbid there would be some useful info in one of these segments.
