Lautner Battles for 'New Moon'

Is Taylor Lautner trying to save his role of Jacob Black in the upcoming "Twilight" sequel, "New Moon"?



That's true! "Extra" caught up with the baby-faced actor at the Golden Globes Young Hollywood party last night, where he broke news about an upcoming meeting with "New Moon" director Christ Weitz. While Lautner expressed excitement about meeting with the director, he confirmed that none of the sequel cast is set.

Taylor also put co-star Ashley Greene on the spot, via "Extra's" celeb degrees! When Lautner asked the brunette beauty if she were on team Edward or team Jacob, Ashley said, "Right now I'm gonna be on Team Jacob because I'm really, really rooting that you stay and that you play Jacob in the second one."

"New Moon" creeps in to theatres in late 2009.

I really hope they keep Taylor to play Jacob…I would really like to see him again.

Now while I am on Team EDWARD I thought that Taylor Lautner was the only one I thought that the producers and Stephenie picked out perfectly to play Jacob. He was really good in Twilight and I would love to see him continue on in the Saga movies.

I think that they should keep Taylor as Jacob because they can do all the bulking up by CG and it will look just like him bulked up with no problem what so ever.

yeah
copon looks fit for steamy seduction
but one of jacob’s chief traits in the books was always his innocence
bella is supposed to be befriended, not seduced by jacob black
coupon doesn’t work
lautner has the innocence, but he also has the capacity to grow into the more serious side of jacob’s nature - they got it right the first time
just like tests, you go with your gut
you get it wrong when you second guess

Taylor is the best to play the role and i will be really mad if he isnt in the sequel. I really liked him in Twilight and he fits the part so well.

Taylor wants this so bad!
He is so passionate about it, im sure he will do a great job if they let him play Jacob.

I Think he is a good counterpart to Rob.
That Copon guy is wayyyy too hot. ( in my twi-world Jacob was attractive but no comparison with Edward)

All i want is then to pick one! ASAP!

Even though i hope it doesnt cost a-lot to make Taylor look big, i am rooting for him.♥

Taylor HAS TO play Jacob, he’s my favorite character and he fits the part soo well.
