they would be making a really big mistake by not keeping taylor..he’s jacob, he portayed him so well, you can’t have one guy play him in the 1st movie, which was a huge success, and then have someone else play him in new moon…taylor is jacob period.

I personally did not like taylor because he was to baby faced- but it could also be the TOTALLY fake wig he had on UGLY(even though he looked to young he did act ok though) - what I think they should do is to keep Taylor for some of New Moon because in the book he is the same then TRANSFORMS after like three days this way Taylor fans could still see Taylor and it would not be like they completely replaced him I would be like Taylor actually change from a human body to a werewolf one

-anyone agree with that idea?

I think Summit Entertainment would be wrong in replacing Taylor Lautner in Twilight´s sequel “new moon”.
Here are my reasons:
1. The movie won’t be accepted by the public (including the fans).
2. The critics from the audience would be rough.
3.It would mean an ECONOMIC LOST because many fans would stop supporting the sequel.
4.The audience would be confused with a different actor for the same character
5. Taylor Lautner is already the “face” and “voice” of Jacob.
6. Taylor, obviously, can increase his size! (I heard he just gained 9 pounds and that he is compromised to gain more)
7. Don´t tell me you can´t do some MOVIE MAGIC like in the lord of the rings or in Harry Potter (Hagrid//Gandalf and the hobbits) to make him look taller.
8. It will break Jacob’s fans hearts (including mine) 
9. In the movie, you can appreciate a lot of chemistry between Bella and Jacob (Taylor and Kristen); if Taylor Lautner is replaced; that same relation between him and Bella (Kristen Stewart) will be different (it would also be a awkward).
10. Come on… don’t you LOVE Taylors performance as Jacob??; I think he “personificates” him perfectly; it’s a role made exactly for him.

Hey; Jacob is as important as Bella or Edward in the book and in the movie too; that’s why Taylor Lautner shall be respected to reprise his role in “New Moon”.

im so upset with them trying to replace Taylor as Jacob. it doesnt make any sense. it would be like seeing harry potter for the first time and then trying to replace Daniel Radcliff as Harry Potter in the second movie. it is wrong. they already chose Taylor as Jacob so they should change him now!it doesnt matter if he is supposed to look older in the book because in the book, he is supposed to look like the same Jacob that bella always knew, but he is supposed to be bigger. he has to ahve the same “baby face” that he has now and changing Taylor would be the biggest mistake of Chris’ career. they cant do this to Taylor or to the fams of twilight. I thought the guy from the covenant would have been great for the Jacob role but when I saw Taylor as Jacob I was blown away there couldn’t be a better Jacob even if the character himself came to life. New Moon focuses on the bond that is formed between Bella and Jacob, he is a big part of the book. IF THEY CHANGE TAYLOR LAUTNER I WON’T GO SEE NEW MOON!

i think that they should keep taylor, its completly stupid that they would change such a major charecter! He was fantastic as jacob and I can’t wait to see him in the future…hopefully!

TAYLOR SHOULD STAY. they better keep taylor as jacob. taylor is such a better jacob then any other guy that would replace him. & he is trying his best to bulk up for the next movie. no one should replace him because the movie was confused for some & the next movie will be confused if he’s not in it. so TEAM JACOB ALL THE WAY! :)

Ok well honestly it isn’t had for me to say keep Taylor. Hello read all the comments and anyone can see that it’s the best choice. I hate to watch sequels that the characters have been replaced. If a director is going to make a movie with seguels they should keep that in mind. It messes with the story soooo bad. Taylor would make a great Jacob! Keep Taylor!

I’m so upset to hear that they would even think about replacing Taylor… I’ve seen the movie six times with all my friends and we plan to boycott The New Moon movie if they replace Taylor…. How could they even think of replacing Jacob (Taylor) is Jacob Black and we love him!!!!!!!!! Team Jacob all the way….
