Hi, Do you know of a good Fraxel;repair doctor in Michigan or Chicago? I have acne scars. I’m thinking 3 treatments, but at what settings? 70mj/60%? Thank you-Katie

Is there a doctor in Atlanta that does the fraxel repair?

Hi Anon,

Other than the fractionated nature of the delivery of the laser beams, Fraxel re:pair and re:store are very different.
The results with a single re:pair treatment are much more dramatic than multiple re:store treatments.

There is a Fraxel re:pair Lite treatment where the energy and density of the treatment are turned down to minimal settings. This treatment is nearly as atraumatic as re:store, but gives superior results. Be well.

How does Fraxel restore compare
result-wise with fraxel repair? I know restore is less traumatic initially, but requires 4-5 treatments. Are the end results similar?

Hi Jill,

In beautiful Salt Lake City, Mark Taylor,MD is an expert in Fraxel re:pair . The cost of the treatment varies from $3500 to $6750 depending on whether the face, neck, and/or decollette are treated, as well as the geographic area of the country. Good luck and be well.

Hi,

Fraxel re:pair laser skin rejuvenation is a most incredible technology when performed by properly trained physicians. It is a procedure that should be performed by a board certified physician experienced with lasers in a cosmetically oreinted specialty such as facial plastic surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, opthalmoplastic surgery, or dermatology. It is not a commodity as the effectiveness and safety will vary depending on the operator. Do your research and choose your physician most carefully. Good luck and be well.
