Hi Nancy,

For excessive skin draping from your arms after losing a great deal of weight, the procedure of choice is direct excision of the excess skin by a qualified plastic surgeon. If you would like referrals, please contact me at drpersky@aol.com. Good luck and be well.

I have lost 140 lbs. While I look great in clothes after 25 years of weight battle. I have all this skin hanging on my arms. I wish I knew what to do with my extra skin hanging. Any suggestions?

Hi Rob,

Wait two years, five year olds think it looks cool and can handle it a lot better. Good luck and be well.

I have skin like ten miles of bad road but there’s a three year old in the house I wouldn’t want to terrify coming home looking like a burn victim.

Hi,

Fraxel re:pair laser skin rejuvenation is a most incredible technology when performed by properly trained physicians. It is a procedure that should be performed by a board certified physician experienced with lasers in a cosmetically oreinted specialty such as facial plastic surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, opthalmoplastic surgery, or dermatology. It is not a commodity as the effectiveness and safety will vary depending on the operator. Do your research and choose your physician most carefully. Good luck and be well.

I had Fraxel re:pair (fractional C02) 5 weeks ago. Looked like I belonged in a burn unit right after procedure and under “house arrest” for 4 days. Zero pain during nor after. For a one time “gitter done” procedure it’s the only way to go. I’m 61 y/o and look 50.
