Dr. Funk: Fight Cancer with OTC Meds

Breast cancer specialist Dr. Kristi Funk reveals to "Extra" the over-the-counter medicines that can help save your life.

NEXT: Spice Up Your Little Black Dress

Is this Doctor for real? There is no proof that OTC’s reduce the chance of breast cancer. What they do is cause stomach bleeding if taken for as long as this Doctor says to take them.I am ashamed at this television show for not screening these doctors and the crapola they are spreading to the public.According to my doctor, whose a real internist)this advice is hooey.

My brother died from metastatic prostate terminal cancer when he was 68 years old almost three years ago. He has 4 loving caring children.
He was married for one year and half when he died, with a woman, his age and only knows each other for less than 3 years before married.
She knew about his terminal cancer before married him.
In the year and half of marriage she isolate him from his children, not spiritual help, no friends or family, just her and her lawyers team, accouters, bankers, witness that she pay, doctors, and her children not my brother’s children.
She stole all the money, real estate, bank accounts etc. Even she got all the sentimental things, that belong to the children.( that later she destroyed)
The children are fighting with lawyers, because the children could find him the last two months of his life, they could not say Goodbye and they were extremely close.
If you have some documentation how a terminal cancer husband who has been abuse, and control, please let me know, or your testimony, may help to this abuse case, that is close to be a criminal case, because what we found is terrible all ready.
And have a
Merry Christmas or
Happy Hanukkah or
Happy kwanza. or
Just be happy!!!!!! For many, many years (at least 50 more years to come  )

Or maybe you can answer these questions through someone else who is a cancer survivor or relate me a book about abusing the terminal cancer patients, or give me a suggestion please.

1.- What steps you took for surviving?
2. Who was helping you?
3.What steps the people love you took for helping you?
4.-Did you were involved in spiritual help?
5.- What did you need to be in internal peace on those days?
6.- How was your thinking, feelings, and moral?
7.-What were the things you wanted to do?
8.-How did you feel about family and friends, did you what to be around them?
9. Did you wanted to go out for traveling?
10.- How did you feel about economical and legal matters?

My brother was informed in 2001 in the early stage, about his prostate cancer
He died in February 2006; even he has the best doctors in U.S.A.
11.-Do you think the isolation was part of the cause he could not survive?
12. Do you think the internal peace is very important for getting well?
13. He was send to Supportive Expressive Psychotherapy, do you thing because the amount of drugs this woman was giving him?

Thank you for your help.

I am bewildered that you did not reveal all the potential life-saving tips re: breast cancer to the millions of women who watch your show. Just about everybody has a TV, but not everyone has access to a computer, or can not get to one easily; some people don’t have a clue how to use one. By the time the show is finished, most people will forget over time to look it up! When it comes to health, please reveal all info on TV. We won’t die if we forget to look up a celebrity!

How come you didn’t mention that mammograms don’t catch all breast cancers? Young women with lobular cancer or dense breasts are in danger of going on their merry way when they’ve got cancer that could have been caught earlier.
