Brother-in-Law Arrested in Hudson Slayings

Jennifer Hudson's estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, was arrested Monday for the October slayings of the "Dream Girl" star's mother, brother and nephew.

Balfour, who has been held on a parole violation, was transferred back into custody after the formal arrest, police spokeswoman Monique Bond tells People magazine.

The 27-year-old will be charged with the October 24 first-degree murders of Darnell Donerson, 57, Jason Hudson, 29, and his stepson -- 7-year-old Julian King; all died of gunshot wounds. King's body was found on October 27, in the backseat of a Chevrolet Suburban owned by the late Jason Hudson. A weapon was recovered in a nearby field.

Since the deaths of her family members, Jennifer has released numerous statements thanking her fans for their support through her difficult time.

Hudson skyrocketed to fame after becoming runner-up on "American Idol," and landing a role in "Dream Girls" that nabbed her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

This guy deserves to go to Hell for all the misery and unforgivable pain he caused , I pray for the family involved
But this guy , WILL ANSWER. for what he has done.

If jennifers brother in law did kill her family trust and believe god will handle him.it’s very sad what was done too the hudson family.

The boy is not his son, he is his stepson but it doesn’t matter a young innocent child and two adults was taken away for no reason i hope he gets the punishment he so rightly deserves.

He has not been convicted yet.

Remember this is the US not Russia.

FYI: Only God can judge people. By saying he is going to hell you are putting yourself in Gods place, which is the only unforgivable sin!
