R&B star Brandy Norwood is back on the music scene with her first album in four years, called "Human." "Extra's" AJ Calloway sat down with the Grammy-winning pop star for one of her most candid interviews ever.

Brandy is opening up about the 2006 car crash that changed her life. The "Moesha" star was involved in a wreck on a Los Angeles freeway where another driver was killed. "It's a little hard for me to talk about it...You never expect something like that to happen or wake up intending for that to happen. It just happens and we don't know why."

Things are now looking up for the singer. Brandy will be appearing on BET tonight, and on the "Today Show" in January. She also told "Extra" that she's single.

Oh come on! She is cool.. after all she is only human. Like MJ, Britney, R Kelly, Winehouse … and the rest who have made some mistakes. God willdefinitely forgive her for her mistakes. If I have a daughter I might just call her Brandy - onless I have one with her.

roni, why don`t you check YOUR facts. brandy was going too fast on the freeway and following too close. she rear ended a car in her humongous SUV. that driver died. brandy was not hurt except maybe she broke a nail. the tough times she speaks about , i can only assume, are the critics that say she should have to pay for taking a life, which by the way, she did not have to pay even though the state trouper recommended that she be charged. she walked away free as an off key song bird. not only that, she had the nerve to sue someone that was involved in the accident that SHE caused. the family of the person killed filed a civil suit against brandy. i hope they clean out her bank account. i don`t know how she made a so called come back, i don`t know how she was ever there to start with. her voice is whinny and flat and she looks like a man. go away brandy and pay for your mistakes.
