Our new President will be a great example to many out there who have struggled with smoking. I’d rather a President who smokes any day than one who abuses alcohol like Bush.

The great thing about Obama is that he is such an average guy. So many Americans can relate to him on a personal level. No wonder he is so popular with the public with an approval rating topping 80%, the likes of which no other newly elected President has ever seen. The guy is just phenomenal. God bless America for making such an excellent choice.

It’s hard to quit trust me I know. I celebrated my 1st year anniversity recently. I’ts hard but if you put this matter as well as any problem you are facing in God’s hands he will see you through. Good luck and may God bless.

It’s not surprising at all that EXTRA would try to put a positve and “cool” spin on the fact that Oblahma smokes! It’s a dispicable, disgusting, revolting, nasty, gross habit! And there is absolutely NOTHING to be gained by smoking!

But, by all means, keep on puffing away Barack,.. smoke all ya want to. Smoke 10 packs a day!! It’s a tell tell that you obviously also do weed! Perhaps smoking is your best option at this time. People tend to smoke when they are nervous, stressed, or HIDING something?

I can not believe you guys have actually lowered yourselves to this capacity. Hey sands… what do you do that would be a bad example for children? What do you fantasize about? How clean is your language? How about your eating habits? How about gluttony or materialism or perhaps gossiping? Please… don’t be so judgmental if you are not the perfect example for all to follow! What’s really sad is that superman’s wife, dana reeves died of lung cnacer, she said there were no smokers in her family and she didn’t smoke. A family member’s family died of lung cancer and she didn’t smoke. All her life she was into fitness and eating healthy foods. She told my family member before she died. i guess all the working out and healthy eating didn’t help me at all. That is sad and she never smoked, she was 63 yrs old. No smokers in her family either. I don’t understand why some people get lung cancer when they have never smoked. It is sad.

i don’t think smoking is good for your health , but hey we all do things that are bad for our health , and besides millions of people do it , so give the man a break he is human too.and he was young too. i love Barack and i wish him good luck in quitting.

Wow. He smokes now and then. Millions of American smoke, to relieve stress, or just out of habit. We who smoke are not disgusting people. After hearing that news, it’s the first time I’ve actually felt that Obama was a real person. What the President does to relieve stress is none of our business, unless it’s perhaps, illegal. Heck, I’m sure he has a drink now and then too. Geez people, he’s not perfect.
